Ontsnap naar een charmante familieboerderij en dompel jezelf onder in de authentieke smaken van Toscane. Deze ervaring ligt op slechts een korte wandeling van het historische centrum van San Gimignano en biedt een rustige vakantie omgeven door wijngaarden, olijfgaarden en een adembenemend uitzicht op het platteland. Je reis begint met een introductie in onze biodynamische landbouwmethoden, waar je leert over de passie en duurzaamheid achter onze wijnproductie en olijfolieproductie. Daarna kunt u zich vestigen in een rustiek Toscaans huis met uitzicht op de glooiende heuvels en genieten van een begeleide proeverij van onze biologische wijnen en extra vergine olijfolie, allemaal ter plaatse geproduceerd. Een familielid, die Italiaans of Engels spreekt, zal u door deze ervaring leiden en inzichten, verhalen en een warme, gastvrije sfeer bieden. Dit is de perfecte gelegenheid om te vertragen, te ontspannen en te genieten van de ware essentie van Toscane.

Podere la Marronaia is een klein familiebedrijf in San Gimignano dat zich toelegt op de teelt van druiven en olijven en de productie van wijnen en extra vergine olijfolie. In 2000 werd alle productie omgezet in een biologische teeltmethode waarbij alleen natuurlijke producten worden gebruikt die de natuurlijke vruchtbaarheid van de bodem exploiteren en rekening houden met het hele ecosysteem. Vanaf 2003 zijn alle producten biologisch gecertificeerd. De kelder- en wijnproeverij, Sosta Alle Colonne, ligt op loopafstand van het stadscentrum, omgeven door een prachtig landschap met uitzicht op de torens van San Gimignano en de wijngaard Vernaccia. De wijnproeverij omvat vier wijnen: • Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG bio • Chianti Colli Senesi DOCG organische of bio Rosato IGT Toscano • Sangiovese IGT Rosso Toscano bio De extra vierge olijfolieproeverij omvat drie oliën: • Natuurlijk • Op smaak gebracht met chili peper • Trufflebrood en kleine snacks worden tijdens de proeverij geleverd.

This was a great experience with a view of San Gimignano. With the exceptionally hot weather the umbrellas and misting is a lifesaver. Our guide was friendly and gabe us just the right amount of information. The wine was fantastic! We received a platter with snacks to taste with the olive oil and all of it was wonderful.
Good wine and olive oil but while professional, it was very impersonal service. We felt we were left alone a lot. The snacks to pair with the wine were an unexpected treat. Setting was beautiful! Nice grassy area with multiple tables for groups.
Amazing experience! The wine, olive oil, food, and setting were all beyond expectations. Dario provided a friendly and knowledgeable presentation of our wine and olive oil tastings. And I have to mention their cute dogs! My photos capture the beauty of their vineyard/farm and San Gimignano. If you would like a Tuscany tasting experience, include this on your journey!
The setting here is beautiful and the wines, food, and service are really good. A fun stop for a group
We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon tasting wine, olive oil and balsamic vinegar with snacks on the terrace. Our hostess was very knowledgeable and friendly. Everything in the tasting was delicious, the terrace was beautiful and the scenery fantastic. We can’t wait for our wine to arrive at our home.
It was a beautiful location, but we anticipated a little more education and touring of the facilities. Instead we were sat down immediately and explained a little about what we were sampling, and then an order form was placed before us…not very personable, and actually a little stuffy.
My husband and I loved every minute of our tasting experience - sampling delicious wines and olive oils, PLUS a wonderful lunch perfectly paired for the wines and oils we sampled. And all in our own private tasting room with a picture postcard view of idyllic San Gimignano. So romantic! It's a memory we'll never forget - thank you so much Podere la Marronaia! Highly recommend this experience!

Did 3 wine tours in Tuscany in March, this was by far the best experience. Our guide was fantastic. We very much appreciated that she took us first to the fields and discussed the cultivation of the vines in great detail. Only then did we go inside to begin the tasting (other tours only take place in a room inside). We asked for vegetarian snacks to go with wine, they were perfect. Our guide also went into detail about the production of the wine and had a good sense of humor. The wine was excellent and we ordered 6 bottles to be sent home to US, and they arrived in perfect condition before we did! The quality of the tour, the wine and the olive oil is superb. A wonderful, unforgettable experience.
