De tempels van Angkor zijn op zichzelf al beroemd, ook al is Angkor Wat's status als 's werelds grootste tempel vaak het eerste waar mensen aan denken. Deze tour omvat veel van de meest opmerkelijke tempels ter wereld, geleid door een deskundige en gepassioneerde Khmer-gids die uw ervaring zal verrijken met onze culturele schatten. We vertrekken om 04.30 uur uit Siem Reap en halen alle gasten op bij hun hotels. Als iemand nog geen Angkor Pass heeft, stoppen we bij het loket om er een te kopen. Onze eerste stop is Angkor Wat zelf, de grootste tempel ter wereld en de beroemdste zonsopgang ter wereld! Onze Khmer-gids neemt je mee door de gangen en terrassen van deze adembenemende plek en geeft je inzicht in hoe het leven in het Angkor-rijk was.
Banteay Kdei wordt ook wel 'de citadel van de monnikscellen' genoemd. Het is gedeeltelijk begroeid met torenhoge, bochtige bomen. De zijden katoenen boomwortels die zich een weg banen door de stenen van de verwoeste muren is een beroemd mooi gezicht.
Ta Prohm is een pittoreske en aantrekkelijke ruïne, gedeeltelijk heroverd door de jungle. Het staat ook bekend als 'de Tomb Raider-tempel', beroemd gemaakt door Angelina Jolie in de film uit 2001.
Ta Keo is nooit afgemaakt en heeft als zodanig een heel ander aspect dan de meeste Angkor-tempels. De vierkante, gelaagde piramidevorm maakt het een van de meer dramatische plekken op de tour en het beklimmen van de terrassen biedt een prachtig uitzicht over de jungle.
Angkor Thom was de laatste hoofdstad van het Angkor-rijk. De weg voert ons door de beroemde South Gate, omzoomd met goden en demonen opgesloten in een eeuwig touwtrekken. De tempel van Bayon in het midden van de site is omzoomd met talloze gelukzalige gebeeldhouwde gezichten, die eeuwig naar het omringende bos staren. Daarna gaan we naar Bayon, met zijn 54 torens versierd met meer dan 200 raadselachtige lachende gezichten.

John was an absolutely amazing tour guide, especially with a tour as early as the sunrise tour: almost immediately he was enthusiastic about the entire trip and was always excited to show us each and every part of the ruins. He was patient with our MANY pictures that we took, and even offered to take some himself. Additionally, his explanations for every part of the temples was fascinating, and he clearly shows a great love for what he does. I couldn’t recommend him enough. The tour was also extremely cheap, and I’m grateful for us being able to book VERY last minute with little issue. The bus was clean, and the free water was very, VERY nice.

Incredible sunrise and temple tour with Sam Vone! He’s an exceptionally knowledgeable guide who made the experience both fun and engaging. He shared fascinating insights into the history and culture of each temple, highlighting details we would have otherwise missed. He also knew all the best photo spots, took amazing pictures for us, and even showed me how to use my phone camera more effectively. We had plenty of time at each stop, with flexibility for bathroom breaks and a relaxed breakfast along the way. Our driver, “Rambo,” took great care of us—helping us avoid the crowds and greeting us after each temple visit with cold water and refreshing towels. Highly recommend this tour!

John When I visited Angkor Wat this time, I used it because the price did not change for taxi or rental bike. I'm glad you moved on time. He gave me a detailed history about Angkor Wat. It was very nice to be able to hand out cold water after one program. Recommended for those who stay less than a few days
5 out of 5 experience with Mr John. Early morning was cooler temp and sun rise was sick as well as the rest of the temples. Also kept cool with water after every stop.

The tour was organised very well, with John as our knowledgable guide. It is an early pickup but it was all timed to ensure we were in the right place at the right time. We also did the sunset tour with this company and that too was very well organised and run. Lots of cold water provided and good information shared throughout
Excellent option to see the sunrise. Then we toured the main temples. With a technical stop for breakfast! At all times they gave us fresh water to recover. Guide Sam explained everything in the different places
