Privé wijnhuizen Tour vanuit Valencia (ochtendtour)

Het is een ochtendtrip naar de wijnstreek Utiel-Requena. Uw Gids is een sommelier gespecialiseerd in Valenciaanse wijnen, die u zal vertellen over de geschiedenis van de wijn, over de druivensoorten, en nog veel meer! Om 9u30 wordt u opgehaald; we gaan eerst naar het pittoreske dorpje Requena, waar we enkele 9de eeuwse grotten bezoeken die werden gebruikt voor de opslag van graan, olie en wijn - de oude kleipotten staan er nog. We doen er een eerste wijnproeverij... Van hieruit gaan we naar een wijnhuis bij Utiel; we gaan de wijngaarden in en door het wijnhuis, en eindigen met een wijnproeverij van een aantal van hun wijnen. Na de wijnproeverij gaan we terug naar Valencia, waar we rond 14u00 zouden moeten aankomen. Deze tour kan rolstoeltoegankelijk worden gemaakt - alleen op aanvraag, en vooraf! Als u 1 - 2 personen, of meer dan 8, neem dan direct contact met mij op! Tot 4 personen : Ik gebruik een kleine SUV MG ZS e-voertuig, comfortabel voor 4 passagiers van normale grootte. Laat het me weten als je denkt dat je een groter voertuig nodig hebt (prijs zal anders zijn).

Dit zijn grotten uit de 9e eeuw die werden gebruikt voor de opslag van graan, vlees en wijn; de mooie oude kleipotten staan er nog. De grotten zijn onder de huizen in het oude historische centrum van het dorp. We doen een korte rondleiding en daarna een eerste wijnproeverij.
Bij deze zeer authentieke wijnmakerij uit de 19e eeuw doen we een rondleiding, waarbij we de wijngaarden, de productiegebieden en de vatkamer bezoeken; daarna zullen we enkele van hun wijnen proeven.

My wife and I had an amazing tour of wineries in Utiel-Requena with Johan, who provided door-to-door service from our hotel in Valencia. We started with a walking tour of La Villa de Requena (the Medieval Old Town of Requena), followed by a visit to Bodega Honda in the heart of La Villa. Our next stop was a fun tasting at Bodega Chozas Carrascal followed by lunch (and more wine of course) at Bodega Vera de Estenas. Johan, who is a sommelier, was incredibly knowledgeable about Utiel-Requena wines and provided very informative explanations of all the wines we drank, as well as the wine-making process. If you want to do a winery tour near Valencia, we highly recommend doing it with Johan!

We had a great time with Johan! It was truly a highlight of the trip. My friends and I enjoy drinking wine, but don't know much about it. Johan was knowledgable without being intimidating and had a very good sense of humor about our lack of knowledge. He taught us a lot about the wines but also about the history of the vineyards/towns we visited. We'd do this again in a heart beat.

This was a great experience for our family of 3 young adult sons. None of us are wine experts but we learned so much from our guide, Johan. He covered the basics of wine tasting, he shared his immense knowledge of wine making, and we enjoyed 8 tastings from 2 different wineries. It was a wonderful experience, and we found the history of winemaking in the Requena region fascinating! Again, Johan was fantastic!

As a Sommelier, Johan, was extremely knowledgeable about the different wines as well as the complete wine making process. He was very friendly and seems to have great relationships with the winery and vineyard owners that we visited. If you’re looking to spend half a day learning about and tasting wine grown and made locally in Spain then I highly recommend this tour.
