Dit grote dagje uit ten zuiden van Sydney slingert door het oudste nationale park van Australië, neemt spectaculaire kustlandschappen in je op langs de Grand Pacific Drive, steekt de Sea Cliff Bridge over en beklimt vervolgens de zandstenen helling om terug te keren via de bossen en landbouwgrond van de pittoreske zuidelijke Hooglanden. Geniet van dichtbij en persoonlijke ervaringen met iconische Australische wilde dieren, uitgestrekte vergezichten over het kustlandschap, met eucalyptus begroeide valleien en watervallen die over zandstenen kliffen duiken, schilderachtige ritten door nationale parken en langs baaien, stranden en landweggetjes, dineren aan het strand en wijnproeven met koel klimaat. Tour is inclusief een privé koala-ervaring met een oppasser, lunch in een populair café aan zee, wijnproeven in een boetiekwijnmakerij, toegangsprijzen voor nationale parken en wildparken, vriendelijke en goed geïnformeerde Gids, vervoer in een comfortabele minibus met airconditioning. De ervaring begint wanneer onze vriendelijke gids uw privégroep reizigers begroet op het ontmoetingspunt van uw voorkeur. Zorg dat je 10 minuten voor vertrek klaarstaat.
Je reist zuidwaarts de stad uit aan boord van een comfortabele minibus, langs de stranden van Botany Bay en door het Royal National Park.
De eerste stop is Bald Hill Lookout, een populaire lanceerplaats voor deltavliegers en paragliders, die een prachtig uitzicht biedt op de kustlijn van Illawarra en de beroemde Sea Cliff Bridge.
Na de pauze is het slechts een paar minuten rijden naar het door een familie gerunde Symbio Wildlife Park, dat zich bezighoudt met het behoud van koala's. Hier kom je alles te weten over deze fascinerende buideldieren tijdens een privékoala-ervaring met een verzorger.
Vervolgens dwaal je langs de Grand Pacific Drive en steek je de Sea Cliff Bridge over terwijl deze over de oceaan uitwaaiert, ver weg van de afbrokkelende kliffen waaraan de oude snelweg zich vastklampte.
Je blijft de schilderachtige kustlijn volgen naar een gouden strand waar je kunt lunchen in een café dat populair is bij de lokale bevolking met uitzicht over de oceaan. Neem je zwemmers mee voor een duik als de zon schijnt!
Na de lunch ga je door gematigd regenwoud naar de zuidelijke hooglanden.
Een gemakkelijke wandeling leidt naar uitkijkpunten die de spectaculaire zandstenen kloven en torenhoge watervallen van het Morton National Park in zich opnemen.
Ten slotte rijd je over landwegen naar een boetiekwijnmakerij om lokaal geproduceerde wijn met een koel klimaat te proeven voordat je terugkeert naar Sydney. Aankomst terug op Circular Quay is rond 18.30 uur.

This was our favorite tour of our whole cruise!! Our guide, Jackie, was so patient and accommodating to our group as we had delays getting off the ship. She communicated the whole time and eased my anxiety. Symbio was an awesome wildlife park, and we loved getting to pet a koala!! It was well laid out with many types of animals to see. The vista points we visited were beautiful on our drive and the waterfall hike was so pretty!! Lunch was delicious, right next to the beach, and finally the winery was great! Beautiful atmosphere and the staff were very kind. They brought my kids their own snack plate while we were wine tasting so they didn't feel left out. Overall, such a great day in the southern highlands area, and we would highly recommend!!
We had a wonderful tour experience. Our guide, Steve, was extremely knowledgeable and informative about the area we were seeing as well as Australia in general. Really a nice guy and we would totally recommend him as a guide. The tour itself was an incredible experience. We loved the Koala experience, the waterfalls were beautiful, the wine tasting was wonderful and seeing kangaroos in the wild was amazing. Our best tour so far on this trip.

We had a great day out of Sydney exploring the wildlife, waterfalls and wine. The highlight of our tour was our guide Rowan and his vast knowledge of the area and history. Our favorite parts of the tour were the interactions with Koalas and kangaroos and the spectacular waterfall hike. The wine/vineyard was great; if time permitted, it would have been awesome to enjoy a glass/share a bottle of our favorite wine from the tasting and take in more of the vineyard grounds and scenery. Highly recommend this private tour!

My favorite tour i’ve been on! I never felt rushed at any of the locations and they had a great variety on what to do. Food was amazing and we did not have to sit through any crowds! 100% would recommend. You really do get close with the animals!
