Na het genieten van de rijke geschiedenis, gaan we naar de beroemde marktplaats, de hartslag van Kotor! De tour begint met een wandeltocht door Kotor, waar je de lokale gids ontmoet en alles leert over de rijke geschiedenis en traditie van zijn geboortestad. Verken de straten van Kotor en zijn pleinen, bewonder de schoonheid van monumenten, zoals de St. Tryphon-kathedraal, de St. Nicolaaskerk en leer over het belang van deze charmante, duizend jaar oude stad, verborgen aan het einde van de baai. Maak kennis met het dagelijkse leven van de mensen in Kotor en bereid je voor op frequente Ciao! en de glimlach van de lokale bevolking die je begroet.
Je lokale gids neemt je mee door het meest levendige deel van de oude stad, waar alle lokale verkopers hun zelfgemaakte verse producten brengen en je kunt zien hoe een gewone dag voor de lokale bevolking van Kotor eruit ziet. Jelena our guide was fabulous.. This was a wonderful tour with food and drinks.. We started at the farmers market for some local samples and then headed into the beautiful Kotor..Our favorite city so far.The views and the locals are hard to beat.. and the tour was 5 star KAtie T
A delightful and delicious tour through old town with Jelena. A terrific historian, Jelena wove in stories and insights among the various food stops — all of which were tasty. The fresh mussels did not disappoint and were the highlight of the tour. Food was plentiful, the conversation was engaging making for a perfect day with Jelena. Super enjoyed.

Our private group of 7, including kids, had a great tour! Our guide met us at the port and communicated well with me through WhatsApp. To start our tour, we stopped by the farmer's market and tried a whole bunch of different olives and some local alcoholic drink and some punch. We walked through the Old Town and learned about the history and local buildings and then we had a wonderful lunch at the Square Pub which included a lot more food than I expected! The lunch included local cuisine like mussels and black risotto and also a whole variety of meat, bread, dips, etc. The tour was the perfect length and we had the rest of the afternoon to explore on our own. Highly recommend!

Our guide, Buena, was very friendly, informative, and personable. She was knowledgeable about Kotor’s unique history and was kind to entertain our questions about her life living in Montenegro. And, the food was all so amazing! Would highly recommend booking this tour, it was the best way to really see Kotor from a local’s point of view!

Our tour guide Bojana was magnificent. She had an in-depth knowledge of the city, the culture and the country which we appreciated very much. She gave us insight into both historic and current events. The places we went to in the city and the meal we had were all excellent and very much appreciated. Our guide Jelena was a lovely lady and was very knowledgeable about Kotor Town, and was very passionate about it too. She met us as described and was waiting for us at the meeting point. After walking around some of the streets and being told what was what we then went to a restaurant to sample some of the local foods. Mostly this was ok but my husband has been very poorly following this food - he must have eaten a dodgy mussel and has spent the last two days in bed which has ruined our holiday. Not the fault of Jelena at all but because of this I cannot give it 5 stars.

This was amazing from start to finish. Jelena was a superb host. Her knowledge was brilliant, she never pressured us, and we had a lovely chat with her while we had lunch. Would recommend this tour.

We had an excellent day with Alexandra we stopped for tastes, saw the town of Kotor and learned history as well. Tour ended with excellent lunch of local foods and wine. Alexandra even saw that we made it back to port. Highly recommend.
