Privéwandeling door Potsdam en Sanssouci

De prachtige stad Potsdam staat op de Werelderfgoedlijst van de UNESCO vanwege het harmonieuze landschap met parken en paleizen. Deze tour neemt je mee terug in de tijd en naar alle hoogtepunten van het oude stadscentrum van Potsdam, inclusief het park van het paleis Sanssouci. Je ziet de oude markt met het gerestaureerde stadspaleis, de pittoreske Nederlandse wijk en de Brandenburger Tor, de oudere zus van de beroemde poort in Berlijn. Na een ontspannende wandeling door de stad, bereiken we het park van het paleis Sanssouci met zijn waterfonteinen, het gouden Chinese theehuis en het graf van de legendarische koning van Pruisen, Frederik de Grote. De tour kan eindigen in het paleis, waar onze gids nuttig kan zijn om kaartjes te krijgen voor een binnenbezoek (maandag gesloten) of je gaat terug naar het treinstation samen met je gids.

Bekijk het prachtige en beroemde park van het Sanssouci Paleis. Op verzoek kan de tour eindigen bij het paleis en kan uw Gids helpen om tickets te krijgen voor een bezoek binnen (gesloten op maandag) daarna (geen bezoek binnen tijdens onze tour).
De beroemde Brandenburger Tor is Berlijn. Maar ook Potsdam heeft een kleinere die vroeger een poort was als onderdeel van de historische stadsmuur.
De Nederlandse wijk is het indrukwekkende historische stadscentrum van Potsdam. Het lijkt erop dat je een kleine oude stad in Nederland zou bezoeken.
Bekijk het nieuw herbouwde historische stadskasteel. Een indrukwekkend gebouw dat vandaag de zetel is van het lokale parlement. Geen bezoek van binnen.
Zie de kerk gebouwd door Wilhelm IV in de 19e eeuw gelegen in het park van Sanssouci paleis. Geen bezoek van binnen.

Our guide was informative and a very charming and educated person, but language barrier was a slight problem. Also think that it should have been made clear on Viator that we would end up a good distance from where we started, requiring a long walk back to where we started. It was an informative tour, however, and we did all enjoy it.
This was a good way to get know Potsdam and its history. Our guide was knowledgeable. There was a lot of walking between sights. We didn't go into the museum.
Seeing different neighborhoods and hearing the history of Frederick the Great were highlights. The Sansoucci Palace was lovely and easy to explore. It must be really beautiful there when the trees and flowers are blooming.,
Stefan was an excellent tour guide. He met us timely at the train station exit with our name on a sign. We began our tour there. All along the way, he had wonderful pictures to show us how things looked in the past and we could compare to the present. His English was very good. We had a pleasant 2 hour introduction to Potsdam and Sans Souci with him. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 hours. And he was the 1st of many guides who had pictures. That truly heightened the understanding of the various buildings and history.
Guide was exceptional! On time, knowledge was in-depth and the overall experience was one of the best we’ve ever had. Recommend the onsite restaurant after the walk before entering the palace. The palace was amazing as well - very personal experience

Tour and guide were great!!! This was an excellent way to hit the highlights of Potsdam and Sanssouci, while it does not include the interior of Sanssouci, it did end there which enabled us to get tickets and go inside on our own.
Stefan was a delightful guide and helped us understand how the personalities of Potsdam's many rulers/occupiers influenced the architecture and devopment of the area. We walked at a reasonable speed and he patiently answered all our questions. Great experience for visitors!
What a great tour! We had a guide who was from Seattle and has lived in Germany for a long time. I can't remember her name but she was wonderful! Loved it!
