Tijdens deze tour krijgt u de gelegenheid om twee van de belangrijkste en oudste bouwwerken in Egypte te bewonderen: de tempels van Edfu en Kom Ombo. Onder begeleiding van je persoonlijke egyptoloog verken je deze zandstenen tempels en leer je over hun rijke geschiedenis en culturele betekenis. Na het ontbijt om 07:00 uur begint uw dagtour vanuit uw hotel in Luxor. Je gids zal je daar ontmoeten en je begeleiden naar de Tempel van Edfu. Deze indrukwekkende tempel is opgedragen aan de god Horus en wordt algemeen beschouwd als de best bewaarde cultustempel van heel Egypte. Volgens de legende was dit precies de plek waar de godheid Horus met de valkenkop de dood van zijn vader Osiris wreekte door Seth te doden.
Na het verkennen van de Tempel van Edfu, is de volgende stop tijdens je tour de stad Kom Ombo. Hier bezoekt u de tempel van Kom Ombo, gelegen op een hoog plateau met een prachtig uitzicht op de Nijl. Deze tempel onderscheidt zich van andere omdat het een unieke dubbele ingang heeft, met een ingang gewijd aan de god Haroeris met zijn valkenkop en de andere aan Sobek, de god met de kop van een krokodil. De tempel van Kom Ombo werd gebouwd ter ere van deze twee godheden, waarbij Sobek werd vereerd als de god van de vruchtbaarheid en de schepper van de wereld, terwijl Haroeris werd beschouwd als een oude incarnatie van Horus. Naast zijn religieuze betekenis valt de Tempel van Kom Ombo ook op door zijn uitgestrekte suikerrietvelden.

We booked this transfer last minute and it was a success! They quickly confirmed our trip and called us to organize everything. Our driver was super nice, arrived on time and even offered us some ice cream on the way. It was a comfortable car, with good A/C and we took only 3 hours from our hotel in Aswan to our hotel in Luxor. I recommend this transfer service.

Our experience was a one way transfer hotel from Aswan to Luxor. The driver, Mahmoud, came right on time to pick us up at our place. He was very kind, attentive and a responsable driver. Althout the route took longer than expected due to the government restrictions to use the highway, Mohamed from the central office called me to explain the situation. Thanks to their great service, and convenience prices, I have already booked another trip.

The transfer from Luxor to Aswan went very smooth. Beforehand it was easy to keep in contact with the tour operator, and our driver arrived at our hotel in Luxor right on time. His car was very modern with good airconditioning. When you travel from Luxor to Aswan the quickest road is a road which tourists are officially forbidden to take (at least after 6PM or something. Maybe all day too, I am not sure). We got stopped by police, but our driver found a nice shortcut so that we could take the quickest road anyway. So we were in Aswan very quickly. The driver was very nice, even though there was a language barrier. My only regret is that in the rush of arriving in Aswan I forgot to tip him. Would definitely recommend!

I think it's worth the price. The driver spoke a little English, but he drove a little recklessly. There were many times when I felt a little scared, such as taking both hands off the wheel to touch the phone, yawning, etc. I met the guide in Edfu. His English was quite accented and difficult to understand, but it was good that he explained various reliefs to me. I wish we could have heard more historical explanations other than the reliefs.

I booked a car last minute and this company came through for me. They couldn't take us on the faster highway because we were tourists, but even with a short break in the middle, we still got there in less time than google maps said. Courteous driver who arrived on time.
