Je Engelstalige gids ontmoet je om 9.00 uur in je hotel in Bangkok City en start de tour met een bezoek aan Wat Trimitr.
Zie de beroemde Gouden Boeddha die 10 voet (3m) hoog staat en 5,5 ton weegt. Het beeld werd gebouwd met puur goud met de fijne kunst van de Sukhothai-periode rond de 13e eeuw. Het werd geregistreerd als 's werelds grootste Boeddha-beeld gemaakt van goud door Guinness World Book of Record.
Ga verder met een rit naar Rattakosin Island via China Town en bloemenmarkt. Het is geweldig om een bruisende, maar kleurrijke levensstijl van de lokale bevolking te zien.
Bij aankomst op de pier van Tha Tien, maak een opwindende boottocht over de Chao Phraya-rivier naar Wat Arun, bekend als de Tempel van de Dageraad. Met zijn magnifieke, monumentale pagode-achtige monument (79 m), gelegen aan de Chao Phraya-rivier, fungeert Wat Arun als een van de meest opmerkelijke bezienswaardigheden in Bangkok met een spectaculair uitzicht vanuit de omgeving.
Ga terug naar de andere kant van de rivier, maak een korte wandeling langs de markt en straat naar Wat Pho, bekend om zijn enorme liggende Boeddha, die een indrukwekkende 15 meter hoge hoogte van 46 meter lang en 15 meter hoog meet. Wat Pho, in 1781 opgericht door koning Rama I van de Chakri-dynastie, was de eerste universiteit van Thailand die een breed scala aan kennis aanleerde, variërend van astrologie, literatuur en medicijnen. Het is ook een tempelmuseum dat veel moeilijk te vinden kunstvoorwerpen en inscripties bevat. Eindelijk is het tijd om terug te keren. Je wordt om 14:00 uur veilig bij het hotel in Bangkok City afgezet.

- De tempels van Thailand zijn heilige plaatsen. Bezoekers moeten goed gekleed zijn voordat ze de tempel mogen betreden. Mannen moeten een lange broek en overhemden met mouwen dragen (geen tanktops. Als je sandalen of slippers draagt, moet je sokken dragen (met andere woorden, geen blote voeten.) Vrouwen moeten net zo bescheiden gekleed zijn. Geen doorzichtige kleding of blote schouders.

We had a wonderful experience with our guide, Puk. The temples were stunning but to experience them with someone like Puk who has such intimate knowledge of Buddhist history was incredible. We truly feel we had a real Thailand experience to remember forever.
We had a fantastic experience- our guide was so sweet, thoughtful, and willing to answer our many questions. I’m so happy we decided to take a guided tour for the temples so we got to learn a lot more about the culture and history from a locals perspective. Would highly recommend!!!

We explored stunning temples,vibrant local markets , and charming neighborhoods that I never would have discovered on my own, The Guide “ Sudawadee Chongchamnian ( Fahrah ) “ provided fascinating insights into Thai history, traditions, and daily life , making each stop meaningful and memorable.
The temples are all so beautiful. Our tour guide, Bella, is very knowledgeable , patient and kind. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour.
We had a great time on our private temple tour with Bella. She was so knowledge and friendly, telling us about each temple but also a lot about the history of Bangkok and Thailand, and about Buddha. We had plenty of time at each temple and our driver was great getting us to and from. And having Bella to get our tickets at each location and know the quickest walks in and out was helpful.

I had 48 hours in Bangkok returning from Cambodia . I booked this guided tour last minute and it was a great decision: my guide Kit was fantastic I was picked up from my hotel on time and driven in air conditioned car with friendly knowledgeable english speaking guide who told me about each temple and showed me highlights I would have missed otherwise Also Kit took photos and videos of my visit - on his own and sent to me at the end of the visit - it was a lovely day and i would highly recommend the tour !
