Savoca, wereldberoemde plaats voor de scènes gefilmd in de film "The Godfather" van Francis Ford Coppola, met een stop van ongeveer 1 uur.
Taormina, een typisch Siciliaanse stad, waar het mogelijk is om de Corso Umberto (oude Romeinse weg) te nemen die naar het centrum van Taormina leidt, waar u het enorme plein met uitzicht op de zee kunt bewonderen. Als je door de straten van Taormina loopt, zijn er veel karakteristieke en oude plaatsen, evenals het beroemde Griekse theater van Taormina. Na de excursie naar Taormina gaan we naar een van de mooiste uitzichtpunten, het balkon genaamd, van waaruit je het prachtige strand van Isola Bella kunt bewonderen.
De tour kan eindigen in Messina en passeert een van de mooiste en meest bijzondere plekken in de stad, het heiligdom van Christus de Koning, van waaruit het prachtige panorama van de Straat van Messina te zien is. Aan het einde ga je richting de kathedraal van Messina om de grootste astronomische en astrologische klok ter wereld te bekijken.
Bij een rondleiding door Castelmola arriveert u op het plein, waar u het kasteel en de typische dorpjes van de stad kunt bewonderen.

If you want to see a little bit everything, this is the tour for you. It was so good! Salvatore our driver was so careful and prompt and informative as well and Olegsandra, or guide was so informative and easy going, we had so much fun with them. It was a just what we wanted to see everything and have time for Taormina as well. Would highly recommend this tour, there are several surprises in store they have planned as well, I won't spoil the fun, but it was a perfect day.
Wonderful experience for short day trip! Tour guide Andrea was welcoming, give historical insights into Sicily and never made us feel rushed. He showed us wonderful sights of this part of Sicily and introduced us to some unique aspect to Sicilian culture! Truly one of the best trips we have been on. Left us wanting nothing, other than to return to Sicily!

Isabela was a wonderful tour guide! She was knowledgeable, friendly, efficient, and very easy to communicate with. We loved the Cathedral and astronomical clock in Messina, a fabulous lunch at Mama Rosa’s in Taormina, everything Godfather in Savaca, ending with a stop to Turrisi in Castelmola. Definitely overpriced. I paid 800$ and I think they must have given me the worst tour guide, as we were not able to understand a word she said. It was frustrating experience because we kept trying to understand as she took us around to talk about all the beautiful structures and scenery but basically impossible. She wasn’t Italian and her accent was incomprehensible. I wish I just booked the shared and saved my money. The tour guide would have been easier to understand.
Good morning, madam, but I don't understand why this review. I think our collaborators, who we make available to you at the end of the tour, are appreciated for the work they do. I remind you that you have a companion who we provide, but not an official guide. I personally apologize again if you didn't get along well with our collaborator.
This was a well organized and informative tour. Our driver, Nicola, and guide Alexandria were wonderful to work with. We saw many interesting things and were treated to cannoli, almond wine, and plenty of bottled water on our hot day. We were given time with our guide as well as time on our own. This tour was a must and we loved seeing the very different towns!

Our group of 15 had a wonderful time! Oleksandra met us at our cruise ship with a smile and was lovely throughout the tour. Our first stop was Castelmola, a quaint beautiful village high above with fantastic views. Next stop was Taormina which speaks for itself. Lastly we had lunch at Da Giovanni overlooking Isola beach. Delish! Prior to being dropped off at the ship, we saw some beautiful sights in Messina. Overall, our tour was fantastic and I highly recommend booking with Sicily Tour by Coppola.

This is the best way to see Sicily when on a cruise ship stop! The people are warm and welcoming. They modify the trip to your interests and keep you ahead of the large tour bus groups that clog up the scenery with too many people! The guide points out all the points of interest. Highly recommend taking a private tour over a big bus group!

Timely WhatsApp messages made for a very smooth meet-up, just outside the cruise port gate. During the car ride Gabri shared a lot of information with us about the history, culture, flag and foods of Sicily. Each stop on the journey was both educational and scenic. We had the best time ever with Nicola, Angelica, and Alberto. The tour went perfectly, Angelica and her partner Alberto, were knowledgeable, and so much fun..we saw amazing sites, and beautiful places. I highly recommend this tour, you will not be disappointed.
