Van uw pick-up bij het dok / hotel tot uw drop-off aan het einde van de dag, we doen er alles aan om aan al uw verzoeken te voldoen. Deze tour is ontworpen door "RHODES PRIVATE TOURS" om te ontspannen. We brengen je zo dicht mogelijk bij de bezienswaardigheden, zodat je niet hoeft te lopen. Deze tour biedt avontuur en comfort, zodat u er geen hoeft te kiezen. Je krijgt de beste bestemmingen van Rhodos te zien zonder ook maar iets op te offeren. We weten dat je hier bent om een ervaring te hebben die je nooit zult vergeten. Vanaf de pier (of het door u geselecteerde startpunt) rijden we naar de oude haven van Mandraki, waar volgens de traditie ooit de Kolossus van Rhodos stond - een van de zeven wonderen van de antieke wereld. Bij de ingang van de oude haven, bovenop hoge zuilen, staan de twee bronzen herten - karakteristieke herkenningspunten van het eiland. (Om de site te bezoeken heb je een paar stappen nodig - niet lopen)
Elli ligt tussen de haven van Mandraki en het aquarium, in het noordelijke uiteinde van de stad. Is het kosmopolitische strand van Rhodos-stad
We rijden naar de Akropolis van Rhodos (met de auto geen klim). Onderweg zie je de noordpunt van het eiland, waar de Middellandse Zee en de Egeïsche Zee elkaar ontmoeten. Eenmaal aangekomen bij Monte Smith - Akropolis van Rhodos-stad, stoppen we bij een uitkijkpunt voor een panoramisch uitzicht over de stad (enkele stappen - niet lopen). We gaan verder op een uitkijkpunt waar je op afstand de Tempel van Apollo en het Oude Stadion kunt zien (enkele stappen - niet lopen).
Na het beëindigen van de Hoogtepunten van Rhodos stad rijden we 32 mijl (50km) Zuidoosten van het eiland naar Lindos - Onderweg bezoek je de Anthony Quinn Bay - Scenic BELANGRIJKE OPMERKING: Op zeer drukke dagen kan Anthony Quinn Bay extreem druk worden, waardoor het moeilijk of zelfs onmogelijk is voor voertuigen om het gebied in of uit te rijden vanwege het hoge aantal geparkeerde auto's. Om te voorkomen dat we kostbare tourtijd verliezen, kunnen we het bezoek aan Anthony Quinn Bay vervangen door een korte fotostop (op de terugweg) bij Kallithea Viewpoint (let op: we gaan Kallithea Springs niet in). Deze aanpassing stelt ons in staat om de algehele kwaliteit en het schema van de tour te behouden, terwijl we toch een prachtige schilderachtige stop bieden.
Op weg naar Lindos kunt u een optionele korte stop kiezen in een pottenbakkerij waar het traditionele aardewerk van Rhodos wordt gemaakt. Je kunt de prachtige kunstwerken zien en de pottenbakker achter zijn stuur zien werken. Je kunt zelfs het mysterie van de Pythagoras-beker leren! (Om de site te bezoeken, hebt u enkele stappen nodig - Niet lopen)
Op weg naar Lindos zie je het Tsambika-strand - Glad zandstrand met kristalhelder water
Op weg naar Lindos stoppen we bij een uitkijkpunt voor een panoramisch beeld vanaf een afstand van Lindos Beach. Prachtig wit zand, vlakke kalme zeeën en geweldige strandzijde. Het strand wordt over het hoofd gezien door de prachtige Akropolis. Vanaf hetzelfde punt kunt u uw panoramische foto's krijgen van het Witte Dorp en de Akropolis van Lindos (Enkele stappen - niet lopen)
We rijden dicht bij het dorp, op een uitkijkpunt (we komen het dorp Lindos niet binnen), zodat je je foto's van het dorp en de Akropolis van een afstand kunt krijgen (op deze manier sla je de wandeling over en heb je de hele foto van de plaats) Als je in het dorp Lindos wilt wandelen, laat het ons dan weten op het moment van boeken, zodat we de tour aan je behoeften kunnen aanpassen (Enkele stappen - niet lopen)
We rijden je naar de baai van Saint Paul, waar de apostel naar verluidt in 51 na Christus is geland om het christendom tot de Rhodians te prediken. Vanaf dit punt kun je ook de grot bekijken waar de film "The Guns of Navarone" werd gefilmd - Wild Nature Landscape (om de site te bezoeken, heb je een paar stappen nodig - Geen wandelen)
Op de terugweg van Lindos stop je voor Delicious Snack of Lunch Experience (op eigen kosten) in het kustdorp Haraki aan de Middellandse Zee, direct aan het water, met verse zeevruchten / Griekse gerechten en uitstekende lokale wijnen. Toneel. Als u meer tijd in de badplaats wenst, kunt u met uw chauffeur spreken. U kunt de tour onderweg verlengen, tegen extra kosten Aan het begin en aan het einde van het toeristenseizoen kunnen we het restaurant aan zee vervangen door een traditioneel Grieks restaurant (traditioneel Grieks restaurant is van november tot eind april)
We gaan terug en de laatste 14 km / 8 mijl rijden we via de kustweg van Faliraki en Kallithea. De stranden in Faliraki zijn voornamelijk zand en het water is kristalhelder, glad als glas.
We gaan terug naar Rhodos-stad en passeren via Kallithea. In deze natuurlijk aangelegde omgeving werd de film "Escape to Athena" met Telly Savalas en Roger Moore gefilmd. Ook enkele scènes uit de film "The Guns of Navarone" zijn hier opgenomen. Terug naar de oude stad van Rhodos voor zelfstandig browsen, of naar het schip (of naar uw hotel). De middeleeuwse stad ligt op 10 minuten lopen van de cruisehaven

Laat ons weten wanneer u uw tour wilt beginnen A) RHODES CRUISE HAVEN: We zien je aan de kade, net buiten je schip met een bord op het voertuig met je naam. Meestal naast de tourbussen van uw cruisemaatschappij. We hebben een vergunning om in de haven te komen. Rhodos is een dokhaven (Alle passagiers stappen direct aan de pier uit, geen tenderboten of kabelbanen) dus het is gemakkelijk om van boord te gaan. B) HOTEL: We halen op bij elk hotel in Rhodos Town (ons hoofdkantoor). Aan de oostkust van het eiland pikken we op tot Kolymbia (25km van Rhodos stad). Aan de westkust van het eiland tot aan het Paradisi Village (14km / 8,6 mijl van Rhodos stad). We zien je bij je hotel (net buiten de lobby) met een bordje op het voertuig met je naam.

Beautiful round trip. What was particularly impressive were the old town of Rhodes, Lindos, a pottery, and a tavern located in a beautiful spot. The driver and tour guide Michael was very friendly, explained a lot, and drove very carefully. Highly recommended excursion.

Michael from Rhodes Private Tours was early to pick me up from my hotel. 5-hour tour included a tour of Rhodes town, a drive around the medieval wall, Acropolis, temples, Lindos, and LOTS of phenomenal viewpoints! Michael was incredibly knowledgeable about Rhodes history, food, people, and landscape and was extremely communicative and flexible. Outstanding service! Communication prior to and during the excursion was excellent. Nicholas (tour operator and our pre trip contact) and Michael (our tour guide) met my wife and me where the ship docked within the restricted area. It was easy to identify our tour guide as our name was predominant displayed on the dash of the Mercedes sedan. Michael has long term, deep knowledge of Rhodes which he integrated into our tour. I enjoy photography and my wife enjoys history/culture and Michael was able to weave these interests together seamlessly. He was also funny - sharing antidotes about daily greek life, restaurant experiences etc. He provided water and even had a stash of euros if we didn't have the correct change for the water closet. We loved the stops at Giannis Pottery, Anthony Quinn beach. St. Paul beach and Lindos. This tour was easily our favorite excursion on our Adriatic Sea and Greek Isles cruise. Nicholas called during the second half of the tour to ensure we were enjoying our tour and if there was anything he could do to make it better.

Wonderful relaxing tour for 4 'older' women. Lovely drive to Lindos. Wonderful friendly/ knowledgeable tour guide/driver stopped for us to take pictures as we requested, stopped for a cool drink and to buy some great local products. Cannot say enough about a great easy tour and fantastic guide.

From the moment we entered his Mercedes , Kostas provided an amazing history of the island. His knowledge was increeible and such a treat to listen to him and see such amazing places. He was willing to take us anywhere we wanted. We went all over the island, stopping along the way. Our last stop may have been the most memorable. We went to a seaside restaurant and proceeded to pick out our own red snapper which had been caught that morning! Fabulous food and a fabulous guide. Don’t miss this tour !! Kostas is truly a gentleman and a history scholar! The lunch was extra but so worth it!

We had such a wonderful time with Michael!!! He was so knowledgeable about your beautiful island and showed us the best views and sites of Rhodes. My husband has Parkinson’s and has difficulty getting around, but Michael made sure he could see all the sites without getting in and out of the car constantly. I was able to get out and take all the photos I wanted. He got us into places a tour bus would never have been able to get to. And his knowledge of the ancient history was spot on! We had lunch at a beautiful and private little restaurant right on a bay with amazing views. Loved hearing about his family and all family life in Rhodes. I would definitely take this tour again.
