Bij uw aankomst in Asilah beginnen we met een bezoek aan de Kasbah. U zult dit oude fort op een heuvel ontdekken en een adembenemend uitzicht op de zee en de stad bieden. Verken de smalle steegjes van de Kasbah, ondergedompeld in de geschiedenis van de regio, en bewonder de wallen en torens die getuigen van het roemrijke verleden. Dompel jezelf onder in de unieke sfeer van de Kasbah en leg gedenkwaardige foto's vast van het panoramische uitzicht.
Vervolgens gaan we naar de medina van Asilah, een doolhof van charmante en pittoreske straatjes. Je krijgt de kans om te verdwalen in dit betoverende labyrint en lokale ambachten te ontdekken in de traditionele soeks. Laat u betoveren door de traditionele architectuur van de witgekalkte huizen en de levendige ambiance van de winkelstraten. We had a fun morning in Assilah with Abdelkader; he explained anecdotes about the place, and we took a peaceful walk while he shared the history of the medina. It was a pleasure to share the morning with him and the group. Thank you very much.

Arrival at the port of Tangier where our driver was waiting for us. Route to ASILAH with a stop at Cape Spartel and the “caves of Hercules” Abdel picked us up the next day at the Riad. Visit of his very interesting city. Our group was made up of different nationalities, even though the common language was Spanish, it gave explanations in French too. He also organized the visits of Chaouen and Tétouan with motivated, involved and serious guides. Thank you for making us discover and love your country with each trip a little more.

Tangier completely exceeded my expectations, and a huge part of that was thanks to my guide, Abdul. From the moment we met, it felt less like a tour and more like being shown around by a lifelong friend who somehow knows every hidden corner, story, and secret in the city. Abdul didn’t just guide—he brought Tangier to life. The medina felt like a living maze of history, and somehow he navigated it effortlessly while sharing fascinating stories that made every street and doorway feel meaningful. One minute we were exploring bustling markets full of color and energy, and the next we were standing in quiet, breathtaking spots overlooking the sea that I never would have found on my own. What really stood out was how personalized everything felt. Abdul seemed to read exactly what I was interested in and adjusted the experience on the fly—whether it was history, culture, food, or just soaking in the atmosphere. He also made sure I experienced the best of local cuisine, taking me to places I’d never have discovered otherwise. Honestly, I can’t imagine visiting Tangier without him. If you get the chance to tour with Abdul, take it—he turns a great trip into something unforgettable.

I was in asilah initially just for a day and ended up staying for a whole week! Thanks for the lovely morning walking around town and learning about the history and the people of asilah!! It’s truly a quiet gem in the north, and this wonderful tour really felt like I am a traveller experiencing the culture rather than a visitor! I met some members of the artist collective and saw them live, making carpets, a calligraphy artist and much more!

Had a short tour this morning with Abdel as our guide of the Kasbah along with a couple of churches. Very knowledgeable about the Muslim faith and the architecture. Would highly recommend.
