In tegenstelling tot grote surfscholen biedt onze Private Group Surf Lesson een persoonlijke en authentieke surfervaring in Playa Grande. Uw les is exclusief voor uw groep, zodat u samen kunt leren en genieten van de oceaan zonder te worden gecombineerd met andere reizigers. Onze ervaren lokale surfinstructeurs passen de les aan de leeftijd, het zelfvertrouwen en het surfvermogen van elke deelnemer aan, waardoor het ideaal is voor koppels, families, vrienden en beginnende surfers. We houden onze instructeur-studentverhouding klein — tot 3 volwassenen of 2 kinderen per instructeur — en bieden meer individuele aandacht, hands-on begeleiding en een sterke focus op veiligheid. Meer dan gewoon op een surfplank staan, willen we dat je de oceaan begrijpt, zelfvertrouwen opbouwt, de juiste surftechnieken leert en de surfcultuur van Playa Grande ervaart met mensen die dit strand kennen en ervan houden. Kom je eerste golven vangen — of verbeter je vaardigheden — en creëer samen een onvergetelijke ervaring in Costa Rica.

We had such an amazing experience at this week’s surf camp with Marcos and his team! My 6-year-old son joined the camp on his own, so naturally he was a little nervous, but he was welcomed with so much kindness, encouragement, and fun from the coaches right from the start. It was an awesome week of surfing and skating, with a great group of kids of all ages. The coaches made sure every kid got plenty of 1:1 time in the water, which was incredible to see. They strike the perfect balance between keeping things fun and relaxed while also helping the kids build confidence, learn new skills, and stay safe. My son came home every day excited, proud of himself, and eager to go back, so we will definitely be back:) We highly recommend Marcos and his team! 🌊🤙

You are Costa Rica is amazing. My kids attend the surf club year round and the surf camp in the summer. They love all the teachers and have become braver on the water and have grown as surfers.
We had surf instructor Bryan, and he was so good with my two boys and I; all beginners. We all had a blast and if you’ve ever felt like you can’t surf, take a private lesson with thes guys and prove yourself wrong. Pura Vida 🤍
Our family received private surfing instruction. Brian made sure each family member understood all the safety rules and how to get up the board. Within 2 tries, we were all surfing. It was so much fun!
My husband and I were pointed to Marcos by our Airbnb host, and we had an amazing time! Marcos taught us the basics and safety and quickly got us out in the water. We successfully road a few waves to the shore and just had a blast. Highly recommend!
My family had surf lessons from Marco and Brian. They had an amazing time. They helped everyone “get up” on their boards multiple times and were fun and patient. I would highly recommend them!
They views and the beach are unbelievable. My 13 year old son and I took surf lessons with Marcos who was absolutely fantastic. My son picked it up right away. Planning to come back again.
We had a great experience! There seemed to be a disconnect between the tour company and TripAdvisor when we first arrived they did not know we were going to be there. Kyressa (hopefully the spelling is close) was wonderful though. She apologized and went right to work getting a tour guide scheduled and offered us several different options to make up for the confusion. We chose to spend the morning on the beach and do the surf lessons in the afternoon instead. Kyreesa provided us with free chairs, umbrella, and wake boards to make sure we enjoyed our morning. The lesson itself was awesome! Erickson was great with the kids and had us all up on boards including me in the first 15 minutes and I am old and overweight. He was also very safety conscious and even shared some of his own personal zinc barrier sunscreen when he saw ours wasn’t cutting it. The kids loved the lesson and I would highly recommend it.
We took a private surfing lesson in August 2024, and our very patient instructor helped 2 clumsy people actually stand up on surfboards. We felt like superheroes. Looking forward to taking another lesson when we go back to Cost Rica.
