De bruisende "China Town in Shanghai" begon als een tempelbeurs en bloeide op het bestaan van het privé-herenhuis dat eigendom was van rijke en machtige bureaucratische kerels in de Ming- en Qing-dynastie.
Het pronkstuk in de voormalige Franse Concessie waarvan de betekenis kwam van de geboorteplaats van de Communistische Partij van China. Het is dé relaxplek in de stad.

I contacted Harris and his english was perfect both written and speech. He was very quick to reply to emails also Unfortunately he was unable to do our day trip but provided someone with equally good english in both written and speech and a very good driver was provided we had a great day I would have no hesitation in recommending Harris
4 of us did a private day walking tour of Shanghai with Harris. I would highly recommend Harris for any tour. His English is fantastic, his understanding of the area and culture excellent and his easy going style is great to listen to. Some of the areas we toured included the old town, the market, the Bund and the French quarters. We did a lot of walking, but that’s what we wanted to do. He would gladly tailor things to your wants. Also had an excellent meal at a nice local restaurant. I wouldn’t hesitate to do a longer tour with him next time I’m in the area.
