Het woord museum klinkt misschien niet zo spannend, maar in werkelijkheid is het veel meer dan een museum, het is een oud Romeins plein. Tegenwoordig is dit oude plein de thuisbasis van het Archeologisch Museum van Valencia, een van de beste archeologische centra van Europa. Dit is een perfecte plek om een panoramisch uitzicht te hebben op de grote monumenten van de stad, die van historisch en artistiek belang zijn verklaard.
Na onze reis naar het verleden in archeologische ruïnes, gaan we richting de basiliek, een prachtig gebouw met een blauwe ovale koepel, waarin de patroonheilige van de Valencianen is gehuisvest: La Virgen de los Desamparados
De kathedraal van Valencia heeft veel geschiedenis en is heel bijzonder, omdat het zich bevindt op de plaats waar eeuwen eerder een Arabische moskee stond. De bouw van de kathedraal is een samensmelting van vele architecturale stijlen, die we tijdens onze tour zullen ontdekken.
We gaan verder naar de Plaza de la Virgen, een van de meest oogverblindende en emblematische pleinen in Valencia. Het is omgeven door pittoreske gebouwen, een grote fontein, bekend als de Fontein van Neptunus, en een breed gastronomisch aanbod van typische gerechten van Valencia.
De kerk van San Nicolas, ook wel bekend als "de kleine Sixtijnse kapel van Valencia". Het is een historisch monument van de stad Valencia, waar de gewelven zijn versierd met fresco's. Tegenwoordig is het een van de meest bezochte kerken in Valencia.
De Serranos-torens werden gebouwd in de 14e eeuw en zijn een van de twaalf poorten die deel uitmaakten van de oude christelijke muur van de stad Valencia. Tegenwoordig zijn er nog maar twee van deze twaalf poorten en de Serranos-torens waren en worden nog steeds beschouwd als de hoofdingang van de stad Valencia.
Het is tijd voor een beetje meer avontuur met onze Segways. We rijden langs de oude Turia-rivier naar de Viveros-tuin, het groene hart van de stad. Hier is een perfect circuit om onze Segways te rijden en onze tour met de beste energie af te sluiten.

This was an absolute highlight of my 15 day trip! Bo was so fantastic and so much fun! It makes me want to Segway on every excursion I go on! Would 100/100 recommend this excursion. I had the best time!

We found this trip and decided to do it as a family activity. Ages 8 to 54. We had the fortune to have David as our guide. He made the tour an exceptional experience for everybody. Kids loved the way David form us sities about Valencia and recommended attractions that are great and are not the typical places. We were so content with the service that we returned the following day (5 of us since the other 5 had left) for another tour. Same guide (David) and same great experience. If you visit Valencia you definitely need to take this tour. Ask for David. You will not regret it.

A Segway tour is always fun. This time especially chosen for a private tour. Together with the guide through the city and there got a lot of explanation. On the Segway you can travel nicely distance in time.
David was an excellent Segway instructor and a brilliant tour guide. He was very funny and knowledgeable and this was probably one of the best excursions we have done. We would highly recommend
