Our guide was Giulia Tamai and she was excellent!! She had many stories and antidotes about the market and Venice. The tour was not rushed and my husband and I enjoyed ourselves immensely. I would recommend this tour for anyone who would like to know more about the Rialto market and Venice.

The price does not correspond to the services Proposed The guide is super nice but the tour is short We drink a glass of wine or Spritz at 12 o'clock with two cicchtti ....( 7€) The gondola ride lasts 1 minute! Time to cross the canal (price €2) Frankly not recommended!
Dear mlclaine, Thank you for your feedback about our Rialto Market and Secret Venice guided tour. The tour lasts about 2.5/3 hours with one of our local licensed English-speaking guides and the itinerary features the less touristic part of the city including a brief stop for a glass of wine and a tasting of the traditional Venetian "cicchetti" (tapas) in the Rialto Bridge area. The itinerary starts in Campo San Bortolo and reaches again the Rialto Bridge area from the other side of the Grand Canal so, in order to visit the Rialto Market and reach it, we include also the experience of crossing the Canal with a bigger Gondola that serves as "local ferry". The cost for this local service doesn't have to be paid by our guests because it is included in the tour rate - the same happens for the wine and cicchetti tasting. Of course, it is not the classic 30-minute Gondola ride as the cost would be much higher but it makes our guests live like locals as it is a service that Venetian people use daily to cross the Grand Canal and reach the market area. We just had one day in Venice so this was the perfect way to see more than just the main tourist attractions. Christina is really passionate about her city (rightly so!) and gave us an insight into it's history and what it's like to live there taking us to parts of Venice we would never have discovered on our own. With food, wine, a gondola ride and a spectacular view to top it off we couldn't have asked for more thank you Monica and Christina! :)

We really enjoyed four hours away from the bustle of St. Mark's Square! We traveled many small streets to learn more history and how Venetians live today. Our guide was Cristina Pigozzo and she was absolutely fabulous- she is a Venetian, proud of her city, enthusiastic, funny and knowledgeable.

On 4 Sept. our small group of 4 participated in this visit. The meeting point was easy to find but the guide, Cristina, was late by a few minutes causing us a little anxiety. Finally it was a very nice visit to remote corners with lots of history and comical facts. Nice conclusion in a small coffee shop with wine and tapas.

Our Guide, Cristina, was excellent, with a nice balance of history and insider tips ("no Venetian ever buys this kind of spice, rather they ket this other"). A good length for a hot day, with a nice finish of wine and cicchetti.

<p>This ended up being a private tour as our group of 4 were the only ones. The guide was really informative and entertaining. We loved the market place. The glass of wine and selection of 2 nibbles each at the end was a nice finish to tour.</p>
Very nice and beautiful alleys and houses along the tour. Unfortunately, a very disengaged gondolier who talked mostly on a mobile phone. We expected him to tell us a little along the way. Expensive yet worth the ride.
<p>My wife and I loved this tour! It ended up being just the two of us and our tour guide Georgia. You could tell she loves what she does and loves Venice and wants to share it with others. She took us to places we never would have found by ourselves.</p>
