10 minuten om een minaret Hassan-toren te bereiken, grenzend aan de ruïnes van een onvoltooide moskee. De bouw van de moskee en het mineraal begon in de 12e eeuw tijdens het bewind van de Almohad-heerser, Yacoub al-Mansour. de toren is 44 meter hoog en heeft ingewikkelde decoratieve details, zoals kalligrafie en geometrische patronen.
Na 1 uur rijden naar het Grand Islamic mausoleum in Rabat, werd gebouwd tussen 1961 en 1971, na de dood van koning Mohammed V in 1961. Het mausoleum is ontworpen door de Vietnamese architect Nguyen Viet Thu en de constructie werd uitgevoerd door Marokkaanse ambachtslieden en ambachtslieden. het beschikt over indrukwekkende islamitische architectuur, ingewikkeld marmerwerk. De graven zijn gemaakt van witte onyx en bevinden zich onder een grote koepel.
Na 15 minuten. we bereiken een groots paleis gebouwd in 1864 tijdens het bewind van sultan Mohammed IV, de officiële residentie van de koning van Marokko. Het paleis heeft traditionele Marokkaanse architectuur, sierlijk ijzerwerk en ingewikkeld telewerk. Hoewel bezoekers het paleis niet binnen mogen, kunnen ze het van buitenaf bekijken en genieten van de omliggende tuinen. Het blijft een belangrijke culturele en historische plek in Rabat
Na een rit van 10 minuten komen we aan bij een historische plek die bekend staat om zijn prachtige tuinen, oude ruïnes en een beroemde toegangspoort genaamd "Chellah", die dateert uit de Almohaden-dynastie.
5 minuten naar een historisch fort uit de 12e eeuw, gemaakt van zandsteen en versterkt met bastions, poorten en torens. ze omringen de oude stad Rabat en bezoekers lopen er langs om te genieten van het uitzicht op Medina en de omgeving.
in 5 minuten naar een 12e-eeuwse citadel. Kasbah bekend om zijn smalle straatjes, witte en blauwe muren, kleine huisjes en met bloemen gevulde binnenplaatsen. het heeft verschillende bezienswaardigheden, waaronder een moskee, museum ..
in ongeveer 10 minuten. naar een prachtige, traditionele tuin. het werd begin 20e eeuw gebouwd door de Franse architect Jean-Claude Forestier. het beschikt over een centraal reflecterend zwembad, sinaasappelbomen, bloembedden, fonteinen, paviljoens, pergola's en sierlijk tegelwerk en poorten, allemaal kenmerkend voor de Andalusische tuinstijl. PS: de tuin is op vrijdag gesloten
Tijdens de tour is een lunchpauze gepland; de kosten van de lunch zijn echter niet inbegrepen. U bent van harte welkom om te genieten van een maaltijd, een kopje koffie of gewoon ontspannen en de sfeer in Marina Salé opsnuiven. Lunch kost meestal tussen de €10 en €20, afhankelijk van uw voorkeuren

I had a fantastic experience on this day tour of Rabat. Everything was very well organized, and our guide, Khiar, was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about Moroccan history and culture. We visited all the main highlights, including the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Udayas. The tour was comfortable, informative, and enjoyable from start to finish. The experience was very good overall. The driver and the guide were both very kind and helpful. The only criticism is that we had a little less than 1 hour and 30 minutes to visit the medina and have lunch. It was too tight. It was impossible to properly visit the Medina and take the time to sit down and eat calmly after a whole day of walking in the sun. I would have preferred that one of the other activities of the day be removed or that the excursion last longer at a higher cost.

A beautiful city as advised - very clean and cultural We were requested at 9pm the night before to change to the afternoon was I thought was a bit late notice, communication wasn't great - the driver was 20 minutes late which was frustrating - especially when he arrived there wasn't any explanation - he also never spoke throughout the whole drive there to explain what would happen. He was a very good driver and we never felt in danger especially with the Moroccan drivers the way they are. Rabat is certainly well worth a visit - it has enough culture and sites to be seen in the time - it was very well constructed and we never felt rushed. The guide was very good, very passionate about the city and knowledgeable - he made the trip.
