De Gids woont en groeide op in Pretoria, dus er zullen veel interessante verhalen zijn van zijn schooljaren 40 jaar geleden en sporten voor de nationale en provinciale teams. Your Gids Shane is de auteur van "White Boy" een waargebeurd verhaal van een jongen die opgroeit in Zuid-Afrika Het Voortrekker monument is niet alleen prachtig, maar ook erg interessant en de Gids zal je de geschiedenis van Zuid-Afrika kunnen vertellen en alle vragen over het verleden kunnen beantwoorden. Het nieuwe museum als grote hit met originele artefacten uit de jaren 1800. Dit is de geschiedenis van de Nederlandse immigranten die door Zuid-Afrika trokken en vele oorlogen vochten en uiteindelijk Johannesburg en omliggende gebieden openstelden voor de GOLD RUSH Onze eerste president van Zuid-Afrika Paul Kruger laat zijn huis zien als een voorbeeld van de rijken in die dagen. De Union Buildings is een door Herbert Baker ontworpen gebouw en een must voor iedereen die Pretoria en Zuid-Afrika bezoekt. Kom het prachtige enorme standbeeld van Mr. Nelson Mandela bekijken

Dit is een geweldig monument voor het Afrikaanse volk en hun leven in Zuid-Afrika. Je bezoek aan dit museum geeft je een goed beeld van hoe het was in de begindagen van Zuid-Afrika.
Kruger House is de historische residentie in Pretoria van de Boerenleider en president van de Zuid-Afrikaanse Republiek, Paul Kruger. Het werd in 1884 gebouwd door architect Tom Claridge en bouwer Charles Clark. Een must voor internationale bezoekers. Toegangsprijs inbegrepen
Een rit door het centrum van de stad en ervaar de prachtige hoofdstad en het kerkplein waar je een foto kunt maken van de beroemde Paul Kruger op zijn paard. Ook passeren we de prachtige gebouwen van het hooggerechtshof op het plein.
We reizen door de stad Pretoria en naar de Union Buildings, waar je de regeringsgebouwen zult bezoeken en een goed uitzicht hebt op de buitenwijken en Jacaranda-bomen.
We rijden door Hatfield, de universiteitsstad. Hier zijn de meeste ambassades te vinden. Het is een prachtige rit en als we tijd hebben, kun je heerlijke koffie proeven in mijn favoriete koffiehuis.

Shane was knowedgable and friendly. Tour was shorter than described. Shane did drive us to the airport for an extra 400 rand.
Hi Barbara. This is a surprising review and factually incorrect. You where picked up at 8am and dropped off at 1 pm. That's 5 hours. The duration of the tour is between 5 and 7 hours as stipulated in the tour description. As you are well aware you have knee problems and there was certain things you could not do. I also offer all my clients an option of having coffee with the locals at my favourite coffee stop, you decided not to. No problem its just something most international travelers enjoy. Generally the tour would be 7 hours if the above where included. So the tour was not short. I also find a 3 star rating a bit unfair. Your husband during the tour remarked on a number of occasions how much he enjoyed, even suggestion it would have been fantastic if i had been you guest speaker on your Cruise. Sorry i cant agree with the 3 star rating but except it as part of the journey. I enjoyed myself and you where a great couple . All the best Shane

The guide was excellent, very informative and friendly and the museum was really good and worth a visit. I rated it low because it’s the only place we visited, if it wasn’t for the guide it would hzz as be been lower.
Hi. I was always taught that a customer is always correct. Unfortunately this time I don't agree with the clients review.All the places where visited as advertised, except we did not stop at Kruger House as it is requires maintenance. This is the first bad review I have had on this tour so I will just accept that it's sometimes impossible to please everyone. I must say I enjoyed the clients and it was a great day. All the best . Shane is an excellent tour guide who was very easy to get on with from the start of our tour. A very interesting chap who is also full of information about the history of Pretoria and the sites. We would highly recommend this tour as you get to see the highlights of Pretoria (at your pace) including the very interesting Voortrekker monument and the Union building with the impressive Nelson Mandela statue. We were very happy that Shane was our guide & very much enjoyed our tour of Pretoria.

We decided to visit Pretoria and had an enjoyable tour with Shane. We started off at the Voortrekker Monument. It is mostly curated from the Dutch perspective, but there is a lot to see and the collections are very nicely done. Next, we visited a South African military museum. At the Union Buildings, there was a wonderful photo opportunity near the gigantic statue of Nelson Mandela. Shane also took us to the embassy row, and he talked about his role in helping to implement the security of an important building. We ended our tour with a visit to the Loftus Versfeld Stadium. Shane spoke with a security guard who allowed us to view the inside of the stadium, and we took a few pictures. Thank you very much Shane for a memorable tour!
