Hier zullen we onze geschiedenis, politiek, gastronomie, cultuur, economie, kunst en architectuur op een sequentiële manier combineren met ons monumentale werelderfgoed, zodat u de Portugese cultuur diepgaand kunt leren kennen. We had a three hour private tour with Renato. The three hours really went very fast as there was so much to hear and see in Porto. Renato was very pleasant and knowledgeable from telling us on the history of the city and Porto and information on the city’s current development.

We learned so much about Porto's history, culture and local politics from our excellent tour guide Renato! He is not only very knowledgeable about Porto, but also Portugal's history. We had great conversation on broad topics, and we truly had a very educational and enjoyable tour. Renato is very kind! After our tour, we asked him how to get to a place where we want to go, instead of pointing us the direction, he walked us to there. Renato was really friendly and knowledgeable. We learned so much about Porto and Portugal. Each place we went, he had relevant, interesting information to share and kept us engaged. He checked with us about what our interests were and made sure we wanted to visit one of the places he had planned, because there were a lot of stairs. The view was worth it! The three hours went by fast and afterward, he sent us a great list of recommendations for places to go.

I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. As a certified historian, Renato is not only extremely knowledgeable about the history of Porto and Portugal (and a lot of other things), but he is a tremendous communicator and very personable. When he got to the gastronomical portion of the tour, his enthusiasm for the food of Portugal was contagious. As a bonus, following the tour, he sent us a comprehensive list of other things to do and places to eat in Porto. A private tour with Renato is absolutely worth every penny.
