Ervaar het beste van twee werelden! Een ontspannende wandeling in een Fins nationaal park en een middagwandeling door de betoverende oude binnenstad van Porvoo. Het is uw vakantie, dus laat ons voor de details zorgen. Een bezoek aan een nationaal park is een MUST als je naar Finland reist. Gelukkig voor jou hebben we een professionele wildernisgids die je groep veel fascinerende feiten over de Finse natuur en cultuur zal vertellen. Tijdens je verblijf in het nationale park heb je tijd om foto's te maken, het bos en het meer te verkennen en te genieten van de lunch. Na een verfrissende smaak van de natuur gaan we verder naar de magische oude stad Porvoo. Een klein en kleurrijk dorp omzoomd met geplaveide straten. We bezoeken de kathedraal van Porvoo, wandelen door het idyllische stadsplein en handwerkwinkels, bezoeken de beroemde chocoladewinkel van Porvoo en maken foto's vanaf de beeldschone brug met uitzicht op de oude stad en de rivier. Tijdens deze tour krijg je een echt authentieke ervaring van de Finse natuur en cultuur!

Ophalen bij uw accommodatie.
Eenmaal aangekomen in het nationale park (30 min. rijden van Helsinki), begint onze wandeling op een pad dat als gemakkelijk en geschikt voor iedereen wordt beschouwd. Tijdens uw wandeling is uw gids aanwezig om u interessante feiten over de omgeving te vertellen en eventuele vragen te beantwoorden. We komen aan bij een houten prieel dat mooi naast een meer in het nationale park ligt. Terwijl je gids het vuur aansteekt en de lunch kookt, heb je vrije tijd om je omgeving te verkennen en veel foto's te maken. Na de lunchpauze lopen we terug naar de auto en vervolgen we onze reis. In totaal besteden we ca. 2 uur in het nationale park.
Vanaf het nationale park rijden we ongeveer 35 minuten om de middeleeuwse stad Porvoo te bereiken. De volgende twee uur zullen worden besteed aan het verkennen van de populairste bezienswaardigheden van de oude stad, zoals de 13e-eeuwse kathedraal, de kleurrijke dorpshuizen, het marktplein en de beroemde chocoladewinkel Porvoo. Na ongeveer twee uur in Porvoo rijden we terug naar Helsinki om u af te zetten bij uw accommodatie. -- Onze tour is toegewijd aan duurzaamheid en draagt met trots het Sustainable Travel Finland-label en het Green Activity-certificaat. It is an easy hike in a beautiful national park. Alex, our guide, was fantastic. He was so knowlegeable and easy-going he made the tour a delight. Lunch was fantastic, the best salmon soup we have had so far. Porvoo is a well preserved town with cool shops and little restaurants. I highly recommend this tour.

We really enjoyed this private tour! The combination of the national park and Porvoo Old Town was perfect. Our guides were extremely knowledgeable and made the day both fun and informative. The highlight for us was enjoying a delicious lunch by a frozen lake. Everything was well-organized, and the pace was just right for our family. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Helsinki!

A wonderful tour to discover the beautiful Sipoonkorpi National Park with a short hike to the lake, learning about the different trees, berries & mushrooms. We heard a number of birds calling. Jeff & Maree then cooked a traditional Salmon Soup which we enjoyed by the campfire after a walk around part of the lake. Served with rye bread, it was a delicious lunch. The hot berry drink was also very nice. The visit to the old town of Poroo was equally enjoyable. We loved the colourful cobbled stone & brick roads & pavement and old colourful buildings. Jeff took us to the old Lutheran Cathedral, so much history. Coffee at one of the old cafes warmed us up, and we then visited a number of craft shops & a photographer’s gallery/shop & Brumberg chocolate/confectionary shop. Such a great fun day with 2 knowledgeable friendly tour guides in Jeff & Maree.

This was a private day including a walk in a national park near Helsinki, with a delicious lunch of salmon soup, followed by a trip to the village of Porvoo. Alex was our guide and we thoroughly enjoyed his company. He was attentive to our needs and desires. He is personal and friendly. The tour was exactly as described and kept to the schedule. We were transported in a comfortable vehicle.

This was a great day for our family of 4. Jeff is exceptional - made it fun and interesting. He also communicated well regarding the rainy weather and potential remedies. The hike and tasty lunch were really enjoyable even with a little rain. The Porvoo visit was a bonus. My college age “kids” loved it. Highly recommend!!

Walking in the national park was easy, informative and enjoyable. It was a peek into another aspect of the Finnish culture, including the salmon soup for lunch. Porvoo added history to the outing. All in all, it was a great way to spend the day.
