Groot nieuws de Sterkfontein grotten in de Wieg van de Mensheid zijn nu open na 2 jaar gesloten te zijn geweest. Een UNESCO werelderfgoed Site. Dit is één keer in je leven tijd om te ervaren. De Lesedi Cultural Village tour geeft je een zeer goede geschiedenis en cultuur ervaring van de Afrikaanse bevolking in Zuid-Afrika. Het bezoeken van hun boerderijen en het ervaren van hun dans, muziek en eten is een fantastisch avontuur. Het dansen en zingen wordt beschouwd als het beste Afrikaanse entertainment in de omgeving. Voor degenen die een Zuid-Afrikaanse maaltijd in de ervaring willen opnemen, is deze beschikbaar na de tour. Ontmoet “Mrs Ples”, het “Taung Kind” en “Little Foot” bij Sterkfontein Caves. Op maandag gaan we naar Maropeng museum omdat de grotten gesloten zijn. NB NB Let op: de ophaaltijden van 7 en 7.30 uur zijn om de Tour naar de grotten tegemoet te komen. Maak kennis met de culturen van de Zulu-, Xhosa-, Pedi-, Basotho- en Ndebele-stammen. Je wordt naar hun dorpen vervoerd, ontdekt hun tradities en ontmoet de mensen van Afrika. Na het voltooien van deze tour voegen we ons bij de Afrikaanse dansers en worden we vermaakt door getalenteerde dansers en zangers op de traditionele Afrikaanse manier van feesten en verhalen vertellen. Geweldig nieuws. De Sterkfontein Caves zijn nu open bij de Cradle of Humankind. Deze UNESCO erfgoedsite is de thuisbasis van de oudste fossielen van de homeosapion. Kun je geloven dat 4,6 miljoen jaar geleden wezens zoals wij rondliepen in de landen rond de wieg van de mensheid. Kom eens langs en bekijk zelf de grot waar Mrs Please en Little Foot zijn gevonden. Deze opgravingen gaan nog steeds door tot op heden. Dit is een eenmalige ervaring. NB NB .Onze pick-up tijden zijn 7 en 7.30 uur om het bezoek aan de grotten tegemoet te komen

Shane was the best guide. We went to Maropeng:Cradle of Human Kind and Lesedi Cultural Village. He picked us up from our hotel and took us to our tours. We planned on going to Kruger National Park the next day and he gave us great tips on where to go and places to eat even though he wasn't taking us. I would highly recommend using him for your tours. Shane was a great guide, with an excellent balance between facts and interesting stories. We had a great day- 2 unforgettable experiences. The caves were incredible and we learnt a lot from our expert guide. The village was really interesting and the singing and dancing was fabulous. Shane took us to a great coffee spot on the way and recommended a really great restaurant for us for lunch after the tour - and dropped us off. We had a top experience.

I visited the Rhino and Lion Park where we saw plenty of animals up close including lions, rhinos, wild dogs, and a cheetah. Shane was an excellent safari guide and he shared a lot of interesting information about the animals. I also visited the Sterkfontein Caves and museum. I would definitely recommend this tour since it appeals to different age groups!

Our group had douthafri an adventure tour drove us. Not worth the $$$ .basically we paid a lot of $$$ for the driver for 3 hrs. For 8 people almost $1000CAD. No bottled water,no time for food, extra $50CAD for tickets.
Hi Chan, Thank you for your review. I’d like to clarify a few points to ensure accuracy for future guests. This was an 8-hour tour, as clearly stated, with pickup at 8:00 am and drop-off at 4:00 pm. Therefore, describing it as a 3-hour experience is unfortunately incorrect. Regarding costs, the tour details on Viator clearly indicate that entrance fees are not included. These are highlighted in advance so guests can plan accordingly. In terms of refreshments, there were opportunities to purchase water at the caves (around 9:00 am) and again at Lesedi Cultural Village (around 11:00 am). Lunch was a short stop at approximately 2:00 pm, where guests could choose to sit down or order takeaway, depending on preference. You also asked at the start of the tour about paying by credit card, which we accommodated where possible. Lastly, I would like to mention that I received very positive feedback from others on the tour, including a personal message from your husband expressing appreciation. I always aim to provide a professional and enjoyable experience, and I appreciate all feedback as it helps improve future tours. Kind regards, Shane

We only had 1 full day to spend in Johannesburg and we chose probably the best tour we could have had. Shane was great, he was able to get us to the caves on time and was explaining the history and culture throughout the drive, he’s very knowledgeable and accommodating. Both the Cradle of Humankind and Lesedi were fun experiences, I’d definitely recommend to others.
