Een privétour van een hele dag naar Kanchanaburi, westwaarts naar de stad Bangkok. U zult de beroemde Erawan-watervallen waarderen als een van de meest iconische attracties in Thailand en u zult ook een expeditie naar Muang Mallika ondernemen . Je draagt oude Siamese kleding en ervaart hun vorige leven in het Chao Phraya River Basin. Maak daarna een mooie treinrit langs Death Railway . Het wordt een prachtige dag.

Vanmorgen halen we je op en rijden we 2,5 uur van Bangkok naar Kanchanaburi. Je eerste stop zal zijn op de Don Rak War Cemetery, je zult meer te weten komen over de geschiedenis van de 6.982 geallieerde krijgsgevangenen die omkwamen tijdens de bouw van Thai-Burma Railway.
Ga verder naar JEATH Museum. Het is opgedragen aan de geallieerde krijgsgevangenen (POWs) en Aziatische arbeiders die tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog hebben geleden en zijn gestorven in Hellfire Pass en elders in de regio Azië-Pacific.
Na kennis te hebben gemaakt van de fundamentele historische kennis van Kanchanaburi, bezoekt u de wereldberoemde brug over de rivier de Kwai. De brug maakte deel uit van de Dodenspoorlijn en werd vernietigd in geallieerde bombardementen tegen het einde van de Tweede Wereldoorlog, maar later door de Japanners herbouwd als oorlogsherstel. Je ervaart een korte treinrit op de historische spoorlijn die het harde werk van de krijgsgevangenen herdenkt tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog. Tegelijkertijd geniet u van het uitzicht op het weelderige oerwoudlandschap.
Na de lunch in een lokaal restaurant met een zeer mooi uitzicht op rivierkwai, brengen we u naar uw laatste halte, de spectaculaire zeventraps Erawan-waterval. De waterval bestaat uit 7 plateaus en je kunt via een klein junglepad naar het hoogste niveau wandelen. Mogelijk om te zwemmen in het heldere water met vissen om je heen. Breng zeker een badpak en een handdoek mee als u een duik neemt! Rond 16.00 uur vertrek je van Kanchanaburi naar Bangkok.

The tour was wonderful and the food was great. Our Travel agent Amber was top notch. She planned everything for me for my 60th Birthday Trip & I couldn't have had a better time.

We recently took a 12-days Southeast Asia trip through Singapore, Bangkok and Bali. This was a great cultural trip with great hotels stay to include private pool villa in Bali. Amber our travel agent was super great. She quickly make all arrangements, made suggestions for flies to and from, and made sure all the tours were to ur liking. On the last hotel, we had a little issue and within an hour, she had us an upgrade to a 5-star resort beach front in Bali. I really appreciated all her help making our dream trip an awesome one.
This was one of the best tours I have ever experienced. The vintage train ride and the waterfall park was a PERFECT combination of a relaxing day mixed in with a touch of adventure. My tour guide was AMAZING; just enough but not too much.
This was an enjoyable trip. Lots covered in a day and all the highlights you need. Ying was a brilliant guide and it was really interesting listening to the history. Definitely worth the private tour, so you can ask questions and chance to take lots of photos and make memories. Highly recommended.

This tour was amazing and emotional. The Kanchanburi Cemetery, JEATH Museum was quite an eye opener to what soldiers suffered as POWs. Unfortunately, we missed walking over the Bridge on the River Kwai and very nearly missed the train ride over it. The Buddha in the Cave is calming. We did get to take photos of the railway and the river. Our guide rushed us through the village as we were then running late for lunch for 1pm. Our driver took a wrong turn and by the time we reached our lunch stop, it was 3pm!! We did have time to visit the Erawan Waterfall but only to Level 2. At no time did our guide hurry us up or give a time frame for visiting places, she spent a lot of time on her phone and slept all the way back to Bangkok. We actually had to wake her when the driver started dozing off. This tour is wonderful really. The guide and driver let us down. Ask for Ken Homjan as a guide.
Paid £300 for this trip , eventually got picked up 2 hours late after numerous calls and messages, so there for due to time, we only did Death Railway tour , was refunded 600 bhat, which equals £7.00 each , overall, very disappointed.
