We kijken naar ervaring Hvar een beetje anders. We weten dat je voor een geestverruimende ervaring iemands zintuigen moet aanraken: smaken, geuren, geluiden en foto's - dit alles maakt vakantie. Denk je dat je alles hebt gezien wat Hvar te bieden heeft?! Kwam binnen met een catamaran- of speedboottransfer, bezocht belangrijke historische plaatsen, dronk een cocktail op Palmižana - Pakleni-eilanden, diner in een van de vele geweldige restaurants van Hvar, bezocht de Vis & Blue-grot.. Checklist voltooid. U kunt naar de volgende bestemming gaan. Of. Check nog eens.. En boek die extra nacht (of neem de late namiddag catamaran). Verblijf. Omdat je onze Hvar Island-tour en olijfolieproeverij niet wilt missen. Onze beste gids laat je Hvar vanuit een ander perspectief zien - landinwaarts. Als een eiland vol spectaculaire uitzichten dat zich uitstrekt over lavendelvelden tot aan de Pakleni-eilanden, Vis, Korčula, Brač en Šolta... En dat wacht op slechts 5 km van Hvar. Zodra je bent opgehaald bij je hotel/accommodatie, beginnen we onze rit door de "oude weg" te nemen, zoals de lokale bevolking het noemt. We komen door oude dorpjes Brusje en Velo Grablje en door beroemde lavendelvelden. Stop, adem de gearomatiseerde lucht in, geniet van het uitzicht.
Als we verder rijden richting Svirče waar we heen gaan, bezoeken we de beste lokale olijfolieproducent op het eiland. Je kunt zijn enkele en multi-blend olijfolie proeven, leren hoe ze extra vierge olijfolie maken en nog veel meer. Perfect om even weg te zijn van de zon. Laat je smaakpapillen je overtuigen dat het de moeite waard was om dat verblijf te verlengen. Als we Svirče verlaten, rijden we door de door UNESCO beschermde vlakte, Ager (Hora). Dit veld is het best bewaarde Griekse kadaster in de Middellandse Zee. Terugrijdend richting Hvar hebben we nog een verrassing voor je. We nemen je mee voor een wandeling in een klein dorpje Malo Grablje. Een oud dorp gesticht in de 16e eeuw en vele decennia geleden verlaten.

Fantastic tour showing different parts of the island; Maria was an excellent guide and showed great knowledge of the history of the island. The stop at the lavender shop was very good. The olive oil visit was very interesting. Would highly recommend!
A wonderful experience made all the more extraordinary because of the extra effort by our guide, Maria. Having learned that we had already seen most of what she had planned to show us, she really went out of her way to find even more interesting sights to take us to. The Olive Oil tasting was a great-tasting experience where we learned so much about olive oil from planting to production.
We are so thankful that Tea made herself available on what was going to be a day off towards the end of a long season. She is delightful company with great energy, but is just filled with interesting information about the island. As someone who grew up here, she shared what it's like to live here -- both good and less so -- but also knew the history well. We finished our tour at Duboković winery which is just a wonderful experience, intimate and romantic. Highly recommended all around.
This tour was very disappointing. Hvar has some wonderful and historic things to see and I would have loved to hear much more about the history. What we got was olive oil tasting, 2 stops with a beautiful view and a brief walk around Hvar Town. I had been to Hvar before but the other 4 in my group had not. I expected an island tour where we would see some of the important historic parts of Hvar such as Stari Grad, Vrboska and Jesla. We didn’t see or hear about the ancient ruins or any history or information about the island. It was literally two nice views and that was it. There are much better tours out there.

We are well aware of everything Hvar has to offer, but unfortunately, it’s not possible to cover all historic sites, ruins, viewpoints and tastings in a single tour. For guests looking for a more in-depth exploration of Hvar’s history, ancient ruins, and other historic sites such as Stari Grad, Vrboska, and Jesla, we do offer other tours specifically tailored to those interests. It’s possible that the tour you booked wasn’t the right fit for the historical experience you were hoping for. Loved the tour and our tour guide. Tea was very comprehensive and kind to us. She is a spark, we liked her a lot. In the tour you get to see how they used to live and how they live now. We enjoyed the lavanda fields and the scenics views.
Tea is knowledgeable and personable and lovely. She took us on a 3 hour tour, stopped along the way so I could take photos and made the time very enjoyable. I would heartily recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see and learn more about Hvar island.
Tea was absolutely wonderful. She met us in the lobby of our hotel and the adventure began. We saw all sorts of interesting sights around the island and felt relaxed and at ease the whole time. The olive oil tasting was certainly a highlight and we couldn't resist getting ourselves some bottles. Truly a one-of-a-kind type of tour and really all around amazing experience!
We asked the remarkable Tea for the tour she would want to give to a dear friend -- she gave us that and SO much more!! Our time together included driving to a gorgeous mountain top for amazing views of Hvar and the sea, picking lavender in a field of lavender, a tour and private tasting session at a family-owned olive oil factory and exploring a beautiful old, abandoned village. Tea shared many, many wonderful anecdotes about growing up and living in Hvar. We could not have enjoyed our time with her more. It's no wonder she is in constant demand!!!
We has an awesome experience with Teá today! My partner and I were the only people scheduled for our particular time slot so we had essentially a private tour. Teá was super knowledgeable, fun, and friendly, and did a great job of driving us around the island while keeping us informed the whole while. Highlights included a trip to Vrboska ("little Venice"), as well as the abandoned village of Malo Grablje. The olive oil press and tasting was really interesting and getting to taste many different types of olive oil was a real treat. Would definitely recommend for a fun half-day excursion in Hvar!
We were lucky to be the only 2 on the trip (time of season I guess) so it made this a very personalised tour. Our knowledgeable driver/tour guide gave us an informative tour of Hvar with stops in an abandoned village, a town knicknamed Little Venice and a stop for some Olive tasting at a unique prestigious wine makers home. With stories of island life and explaining the landscape made this a worthwhile and interesting way to see the the island and gave an understanding of how things used to be and why they are now
