【De ophaalservice is alleen beschikbaar voor gasten die al in Kawaguchiko of Fujiyoshida verblijven, of voor degenen die op eigen gelegenheid naar de gebieden kunnen komen.】 Deze tour omvat 3 - 3,5 uur wandelen op de hoogste top bij Yamanakako gebied. Er zijn meer dan 400 trappen aan het begin van de wandeling en we moeten de laatste 30 minuten een steile en smalle heuvel opklimmen. Je moet fit zijn om de top te bereiken! Het hoogtepunt van de tour is niet alleen het landschap. Er is Ishiwari-heiligdom op het 8e station dat een grote rots heeft en mensen zeiden dat het het podium is van de Japanse mythologie genaamd "Ama-no-Iwato". De rots is zo gebarsten dat één persoon er nauwelijks doorheen kan en als je er drie keer met de klok mee doorheen kunt lopen, zegt men dat het je geluk zal brengen! Na de wandeling lunchen we in het plaatselijke Udon noodle restaurant. De Gids neemt je mee naar de beste plek. Laten we daar genieten van authentiek Japans eten!

Het uitzicht op Mt. Fuji ziet er vanaf de uitkijkplek enorm uit! Je kunt daar genieten van de beste combinatie van Lake Yamanakako en Mt.Fuji.
Mt.Ishiwari is de hoogste berg in het Yamanakako-gebied en we streven ernaar de top te bereiken. Dit is een zeer bevredigende wandeltocht met onder meer een grote Katsura-boom, waarvan wordt gezegd dat deze de bron is van de Katsura-rivier, en het uitzicht op de berg Fuji en het Yamanaka-meer vanaf de top van de berg. En bovendien is er bij de Ishiwari-schrijn, gelegen bij het 8e station, een grote rots die zo gebarsten is dat één persoon er nauwelijks doorheen kan, waar wordt gezegd dat als je er drie keer met de klok mee doorheen kunt lopen, er wordt gezegd dat het zal je veel geluk brengen!
Laten we genieten van Yoshida Udon, een lokale specialiteit van Fujiyoshida City, voor de lunch! Bereid daar alsjeblieft wat geld voor.

The guide was very knowledgeable and helpful
Yuki was such an amazing guide. Our hike up Mt. Ishiwari was so peaceful, culminated in a gorgeous overlook, and he graciously provided us something warm to drink while we rested. We chatted the whole way up and down, and lunch at the local udon restaurant was amazing. He was so accommodating, even dropping our group off at Shimoyoshida station so we could easily access the Chureito Pagoda, which was different from our pickup location. Finally, we asked for a dinner recommendation and it was SO GOOD. Yuki was incredibly responsive, kind, and welcoming to our group. Ask him how many countries he's visited! The answer really surprised me!!! Thank you again for being such a wonderful part of our trip to Japan!
Yuki is truly an amazing tour guide, my friend and I had the best day! His passion and knowledge goes far above and beyond being a guide. Due to personal circumstances I was unable to complete the hike part of the tour. Without any issues or hesitation, Yuki was very flexible and adjusted the tour for the day, making sure we did not miss out on the Mt Fuji experience. We had a great tour with Yuki who took us on a lovely hike and showed us around the area including local shrines. Although it was raining, Yuki made sure we had a great time and was able to customise the tour accordingly. Would highly recommend for all travellers!

Had such a great time hiking with Yuki and learning more about Japan. It felt like hiking with a friend and we highly highly recommend it. We were lucky enough to get a fully unobstructed view of Fujisan with no crowds. A perfect day. He is a very sweet guy and really knowledgeable about the hiking culture of Japan and the world too.

very good walk in the mountains and besides next to a sanctuary. super friendly guide. we went to a super good udon restaurant and he helped us take a bus ticket to go to tokyo.
Excellent hike with a knowledgeable and personable guide who speaks English very well. He matches the hike to the weather conditions and your fitness level so no pressure to do a difficult climb unless you want to. Took us up to a spot with very few other tourists! Boots and poles are provided. Pick up and drop off at the hotel. Also lunch at a popular restaurant for delicious udon. There’s no way we could have gone there by ourselves as no English menus and no English spoken. Eat like a local! Mr Fuji was perfectly visible that day too! Just a wonderful experience; beautiful photos, great memories, truly lovely. Thank you Yuki san!
We had a wonderful time hiking with Yuki to see Mt. Fuji. He was incredibly friendly, funny, and knowledgeable, which made the experience even more enjoyable. He brought things to the hike that were helpful in the rainy season (trekking poles and rain jackets), made great conversation, and took us to a beautiful Shinto shrine along the way. He also had great lunch recommendations and is very knowledgeable about other places to get outdoors in Japan. Highly recommend!
