We beginnen onze reis vanuit de stad Medellín of vanaf de door u gekozen locatie richting het stadje Guatapé.
We passeren het stadje El Peñol of Nuevo Peñol en onze gids zal u vertellen over de geschiedenis van de wederopbouw en de vooruitgang die de gemeenschap heeft doorgemaakt na de sloop voor de aanleg van de dam, en over de religieuze geschiedenis van La Piedra del Marial.
Onze hoofdbestemming is La Piedra del Peñol, waar iedereen zelf kan beslissen of hij of zij naar de top wil klimmen en wil genieten van een 360-graden uitzicht over het stadje Guatapé en de dam. (De beklimming van de Piedra del Peñol is niet inbegrepen) Als je niet naar boven wilt, kunnen we even stoppen voor een kopje koffie en genieten van het uitzicht vanaf de voet van de berg.
Bij aankomst in Guatapé maken we een rondleiding door de stad, waarbij we de geschiedenis en de bijzondere inwoners leren kennen. Naast de prachtige zócalos en de versieringen in alle straten, genieten we van een heerlijke, 100% Colombiaanse koffie met uitzicht op de beroemde zócalos.
We keren terug naar de stad Medellín en u kunt dan zelf beslissen of u teruggebracht wilt worden naar uw hotel of naar een nabijgelegen locatie waar u uw plannen wilt voortzetten.

Perfect for those looking for a more personalized experience, without rushing, without spending the whole day at unnecessary stops, but having that guidance and recommendations from a local. Thanks to Diego who was super kind the whole time.
We visited a farm, climbed la pierda de peñol and visited the old town in Guatapé. Our host, Carlos was amazing!! He spoke very good English and was very knowledgeable. He gave us a lot of background information on every attraction and the general history of the area. I would highly recommend a tour with road map Colombia. Diego made our one-day trip from Medellín with Medellin to Adventures absolutely unforgettable. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and perfectly flexible with our schedule, ensuring we had a completely stress-free day at every stop, from exploring Guatapé to feeding the animals at El Alto de Chocho. He was especially wonderful with the kids, connecting with them so well that they didn't want the trip to end. In fact, they loved him so much they even asked if he could fly to Panama with us to be our tour guide for the rest of our vacation. We cannot recommend Diego and this company highly enough!

We were traveling with our toddler, and they went above and beyond to accommodate our family and help with our little one, which we truly appreciated. Amazing experience!! When we were looking for trips to Guatape, all of the other options were 10-11 hours and we could not see ourselves going on such a long trip. This private trip was the way to go since we were able to go our own pace!! Our guide Diego was awesome. He has great suggestions and awesome facts! We climbed the Piedra and did not feel rushed. We went to the town of Guatape and were able to stop where we wanted. We also went to an empanada shop which was awesome. If I come back to Medellin again, I would definitely reach out to this tour company! This private tour was worth it!!
Amazing private tour to see Peñol rock and Guatape as well as a few other surprise stops on the way back. Diego was very patient and flexible with how long we spent at each place. He explained bits along the way and was very knowledgable. Would definitely recommend the tour, especially if you are short on time as all others seem to be full day. Does not feel rushed at all.
What a fantastic way to spend a morning. The tour was well-organized with an early departure from Medellín, and our guide was knowledgeable and kept things moving so we could see all the highlights without feeling rushed. Piedra del Peñol is absolutely breathtaking, the views from the top are worth every step. The colorful streets of Guatapé were charming and full of great photo opportunities. Perfect option if you’re short on time but still want an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!
It was a wonderful day, I went with a friend and and our guide Luisa recommended us to leave early to enjoy more and it was the most. I loved seeing how Guatapé is an area that people love art, color and dogs I come home delighted and happy. Luisa was very flexible with us when we wanted to stop for breakfast and provided us with a delicious coffee in the village. 100% recommended
