Begin de tour vanuit het financiële district van Makati inclusief Fort Bonifacio en de Amerikaanse begraafplaats, ga dan verder naar de stad Manila, de hoofdstad van het land.
Aankomst in Rizal Park, genoemd ter ere van de nationale held van het land, Dr. Jose Rizal.
Na een korte fotostop ga je verder naar de historische ommuurde stad Intramuros.
Reis door de geplaveide straten van de San Agustin-kerk, de oudste stenen kerk van het land en bekijk de brede verzameling kerkelijke iconen, gewaden en andere religieuze artikelen.
Daar tegenover staat Casa Manila, een reproductie van een 19e-eeuws huis uitgerust met Oost-Aziatische en Europese inrichting, evenals Filippijns antiek meubilair.
Ga door naar Fort Santiago, Manilla's belangrijkste verdedigingslinie tegen indringers vanuit de zee. Het stenen fort bewaakt de ingang naar de stad vanaf de Baai van Manilla en de locatie van vele tragische momenten in de Filippijnse geschiedenis.

The guide was very knowledgeable and he made the visit both interesting and entertaining. I particularly enjoyed Casa Manila and the Chinese Cemetary which is so unusual.
Excellent introduction to the highlights of Manila accomplished on a long flight layover. Guide Joan was fantastic. Highly recommend this tour. Lots of WWII history, included visiting the impressive American Cemetery & Memorial at the end of the tour.
Our Guide Jonas was brilliant. So knowledgeable on the Philippines history and a great sense of fun. The history of Rizal was a learning for our group, and watching a baptism in progress at St Augustine church- the oldest church in the Philippines was pretty special. I especially enjoyed the tour through one of the old grand houses and hearing the story of ice delivery from Boston taking 3 weeks, and the ice lasting just one day. So they would have a party and everyone got a piece of ice in thier drink !
<p>The tour was great, the driver and the tour guide were friendly and personable. Their English was very good as is the case with most people in the Philippines. I got to see beyond the usual metropolitan area and got a history lesson on the country and the national hero Dr. Jose Rizal.</p>
