Ponte da Misarela is een beroemde brug in het nationale park Peneda-Gerês in het noorden van Portugal. Het is een pittoreske stenen brug die de rivier de Rabagão overspant. Nationaal park Peneda-Gerês is het enige nationale park in Portugal en ligt in het noordwesten van het land, in de regio Minho. Het park wordt gekenmerkt door zijn prachtige natuurlijke landschappen, waaronder bergen, valleien, rivieren en bossen. Good activity to spend a day on the road with guide Juan, also stopping at several locations, so that walks - mainly together with Juan - take place. Juan introduces you to special elements in the National Park, where he can also tell you about the flora and fauna in the area. Communication runs smoothly and Juan takes the time to let you experience the National Park. Definitely recommended!
We booked this tour because we had limited time in the region and wanted to see the best sights. Juan was the perfect guide, taking us to the best spots, avoiding the crowded areas and giving times during the day for us to explore alone to enjoy the countryside and / enjoy a paddle in the water. Conversation with Juan was very natural, and he has great knowledge of the local area. We were very happy with the day, getting a good understanding of the region and seeing the best sights, without wasting time driving around looking for "Google features" that may or may not be what we hoped for.
