De hoogste berg van Arizona, een oude en vaak met sneeuw bedekte vulkaan, torent hoog boven Flagstaff uit en zal zichtbaar zijn als we de stad passeren.
Dit is onze eerste stop met een eerste uitzicht op de Grand Canyon, het historische treinstation uit 1901 en de El Tovar Lodge uit 1905. We hebben een volledig menu, sit-down lunch in de El Tovar Dining room (inbegrepen in de reissom).
U bent vrij om een optionele wandeling van een halve mijl over het verharde randpad te maken om de Grand Canyon van dichtbij en persoonlijk te leren kennen. Het pad ligt niet dicht bij de rand maar biedt een prachtig uitzicht.
We stoppen bij een aantal van de meest spectaculaire uitkijkpunten om u de verbazingwekkend verschillende vergezichten van de Grand Canyon te laten zien.
Dit is een optionele laatste stop bij een historische handelspost op de Navajo Nation, waar je jezelf kunt onderdompelen in Indiaanse kunst, handwerk en souvenirs.

This tour is the best by far of any tour I have had the good fortune to find! Chris was professional, highly knowledgeable of the canyons, accommodating, fun and the best driver for this tour! It really was a private tour with so many fun stops in a very comfortable air conditioned van! There were 4 of us! The lunch at the El Tovar was excellent and included in our tour! Chris was a wealth of information regarding the hotel also! Don’t short change yourself with other tours, reserve this tour company! It is well worth the cost!

My boyfriend and I did a private tour of the grand canyon with Chris, and he delivered an experience that was better than we could have imagined.
