Private Full-Day Temple Tour: Bali Archaeology Tours is een van de beroemdste tourpakketten die we hebben gemaakt om de beroemde tempels op het eiland Bali te verkennen voor een onvergetelijke vakantie die je nooit zult vergeten. De tour begint vanuit je hotel en dan nemen we je mee naar de Kehen-tempel, deze tempel bevat drie goden: Shiva, Brahma en Vishnu van het hindoeïsme. Dan is onze volgende bestemming een bezoek aan de Besakih-tempel, dit grootse tempelcomplex wordt al sinds de oudheid vereerd als een heilige plaats. De lunch wordt geserveerd in een restaurant in de buurt van de tempel, na de lunch brengen we je naar de Tirta Empul-tempel, waar deze tempel bekend staat om zijn heilige water uit een nabijgelegen bron, dat wordt gebruikt voor reinigingsrituelen. De volgende reis is een bezoek aan de Gunung Kawi Rocky-tempel, deze bestaat uit 10 uit rotsen gehouwen Candi of heiligdommen. Dan is onze laatste bestemming een bezoek aan de Goa Gajah-tempel, het is een archeologische vindplaats van grote historische waarde die het een speciale plek maakt om te bezoeken.

Kehen Temple is een van de meest populaire bezienswaardigheden in Bali, het bevat drie goden: Brahma, Vishnu en Shiva waarvan wordt aangenomen dat ze zijn gebouwd nog voor de bouw van de stad en nu aan de rand van de stad ligt. De stad zelf wordt gedomineerd door de koninklijke huizen verspreid over het centrale plein. Kehen Temple is de koninklijke voorouderlijke tempel van Bangli Kingdom, een van de acht belangrijkste koninklijke huizen op Bali. Letterlijk betekent dit de tempel van de haard of het huishouden, dit verwijst naar Hyang Api of de God van Vuur, symbool van de hindoegod Brahma.
De Besakih-tempel is een van de populairste toeristische attracties van Bali en is de ideale plaats om tijdens je vakantie op het eiland Bali te bezoeken. Deze hindoetempel staat al meer dan 1000 jaar bekend als de moedertempel van Bali en ligt 1000 meter hoog op de zuidwestelijke hellingen van de berg Agung. Besakih is een artistiek en uniek complex dat minstens 86 tempels omvat, waaronder de belangrijkste Pura Penataran Agung (de Grote Tempel van de Staat) en 18 andere. Besakih is de grootste en heiligste van de eilandtempels en wordt omringd door adembenemende en schilderachtige rijstvelden, heuvels, bergen, beekjes en meer.
De Tirta Empul-tempel is een van de beroemdste bezienswaardigheden van Bali en een prachtig tempelcomplex met een heilige bergbron in het dorp Manukaya in het centrum van Bali. De site dient als een legendarische setting van een traditioneel verhaal over goed versus kwaad, het is ook een nationale culturele erfgoedsite. Het in 960 n.Chr. Gebouwde complex is ook een stille getuige van de oude Balinese koninkrijksjaren, met name ten tijde van de Warmadewa-dynastie. Een andere nabijgelegen en prominente plaats bovenop een heuvel is het presidentiële paleis, Istana Tampaksiring, gebouwd tijdens de jaren van de natie eerste voorzitter, Soekarno.
Gunung Kawi Rocky Temple is een van de meest beroemde bezienswaardigheden in Bali om bij deze archeologische vindplaats te komen, we moeten een paar honderd stappen verder naar de vallei lopen. Er zijn onderweg een aantal winkels die typisch toeristisch spul verkopen, hoewel ze ook een aantal unieke handwerken verkopen, zoals kokosnootgravure en beenhouwwerk. Botgravures zijn inderdaad overal op Bali verkrijgbaar, maar komen oorspronkelijk uit dit dorp. Sommige van getalenteerde carver gespecialiseerd in het snijden van het bot of zelfs ivoor komen uit dit gebied. Naarmate je verder afdaalt, zullen je ogen blij worden van het prachtige uitzicht op de vallei.
Goa Gajah-tempel is een van de meest populaire bezienswaardigheden in Bali, het is een archeologische vindplaats met een belangrijke historische waarde die het een bijzondere plek maakt om te bezoeken. Gelegen aan de koele westelijke rand van Bedulu Village, zes kilometer buiten het centrum van Ubud, heeft u niet meer dan een uur nodig om af te dalen naar de met relieken gevulde binnenplaats en de rotstekeningen, een centrale meditatieve grot, zwembaden en fonteinen te bekijken. De naam van de tempel is enigszins misleidend, wat de indruk wekt dat het een gigantische woning is vol met olifanten.

Raj was an incredible tour guide! Took us to stunning temples and an incredible waterfall, while giving my wife and I awesome information and advice about Bali.
