Een dag buiten de tijd, in het hart van Gran Canaria. 100% PRIVÉTOUR. Niemand anders zal zich bij uw excursie aansluiten. (Deze excursie is niet beschikbaar vanuit Las Palmas als u met minder dan 4 personen bent). Laat u meevoeren op een onvergetelijke vakantie. Ontdek in slechts één dag de ziel van Gran Canaria: 3 pittoreske dorpjes, waarvan er één tot de mooiste van Spanje behoort, openen hun deuren voor u met authenticiteit en charme. Twee kerken vol gratie, vier adembenemende uitzichtpunten, de hoogste top van het eiland, waar de hemel binnen handbereik lijkt. Door voor deze excursie te kiezen, kiest u ervoor om anders te reizen, de tijd te nemen om te voelen, te overdenken, te genieten en de rijkdom van het landschap te ontdekken, maar ook die van het lokale, historische, culturele en gastronomische erfgoed. Geen commerciële omwegen, geen haast — alleen jij: het eiland in al zijn pracht. Een volledig privé-ervaring, ontworpen voor diegenen die dromen van vrijheid.

Stop eerst bij een Mirador vanwaar je een spectaculair uitzicht hebt op Playa Del Ingles, de duinen en de vuurtoren.
Stop bij Fataga en korte wandeling door het dorp. Dit vredige dorp, hoog in een vallei, bestaat uit kleine, goed bewaard gebleven witte huizen en kleine, smalle, bloemrijke straatjes. Het is omgeven door ravijnen, pijnbomen en een weelderig en uniek palmenbos.
Route naar het dorp San Bartolome de Tirajana op 890 meter hoogte. We maken een stop bij een traditioneel Canarisch huis uit de 19e eeuw dat is omgebouwd tot museum. ((Museum gesloten in augustus en september). In het huis staan nog de originele meubels en andere waardevolle voorwerpen van een arts die het vroeger bezat. We bezoeken de slaapkamers, de eetkamer, de keuken, de oven en de gereedschapsruimte, zijn dokterspraktijk en twee kamers die zijn aangepast om te herinneren aan de economische activiteiten van die tijd: een weefkamer en een olie- en azijnfabriek. Daarna bezoeken we de dorpskerk.
Vervolg van de weg richting het kleine dorpje Tejeda dat de onderscheiding ontving van een van de mooiste dorpen van Spanje. Wandeling door het dorp en lunch in een typisch restaurant met lokale tapas (maaltijden niet inbegrepen).
Na de lunch gaan we naar Cruz de Tejeda waar we (als er niet te veel bewolking is) een prachtig uitzicht hebben over Tenerife en de vulkaan “El Teide”. Cruz de Tejeda markeert het geografische centrum van het eiland. Stop om foto's te maken en het landschap te bewonderen.
We nemen dan de weg richting “de Pico de La Nieves”. Om de essentie van een plek te waarderen en de sfeer op te snuiven, is niets beter dan naar het hoogste punt te gaan. Op Gran Canaria is dit het uitkijkpunt Pico de las Nieves, midden op het eiland. Op 1.949 meter boven zeeniveau heb je een adembenemend uitzicht op het Unesco-biosfeerreservaat, met zijn talloze diepe valleien en grillige bergkammen, gehuld in vegetatie en bekroond met spectaculaire rotsen.
Na deze klim gaan we richting Santa Lucia de Tirajana. We stoppen om een foto te maken van de kerk van Santa Lucía, een historisch-artistiek gebouw gelegen op de top van de stad dat opvalt door de structuur van de gevel in prachtige gladde stenen die, geassocieerd met de witheid en vorm van de koepel maakt het uniek. Het is dan tijd om terug te keren naar uw hotel om deze excursie af te ronden.

Very enjoyable day trip conducted by Fabien. We were collected directly from our hotel at the allotted time, and given a thoroughly informative tour of the local mountains. The villages we stopped at were picturesque, lots of view points and plenty of photo opportunities. A complete contrast to the hotel filled towns by the coast. Fabien was a considered driver, car exceptionally clean and the perfect guide. We would not hesitate to book Fabien again, and would recommend his services. Thank you Fabien Davide & Claudia

We had a very nice day this week in the mountains of Gran Canaria. Fabien is a great guide and very friendly. His journey allowed us to see beautiful landscapes and villages, and his explanations helped us better understand local life. He was very considerate to make sure that the ride was suitable for my mom who is old (even if she moves well) and he drives very well. The lunch restaurant was perfect. I highly recommend! We had an absolutely fantastic tour with Fabien. From the moment we met him, his enthusiasm and energy were contagious. Yesterday we did private tour of mountains in Gran Canaria. Our first day we took a tuk tuk tour of Las Palmas so it was great to see the countryside. Fabien was our guide & he made a great itinerary for us with a stop in Tejeda for authentic Canarian food with almond pastries for dessert. Tejeda is truly beautiful village. We would highly recommend Fabien for this tour or any of his tours. He is so easy to be with & so knowledgeable about the island.

We spent an unforgettable day with Fabien! Beautiful landscapes in the mountains, visit of pretty atypical villages with interesting and enriching explanations (San Bartolome de Tirajana, Theresa, Pico de Las Nieves, Santa Lucia...) and in French 🙂!
