Ontmoet je privégids op het metrostation Akshardham en loop naar de Swaminarayan Akshardham-tempel. Het prachtige monument is officieel geopend in 2005 en ligt aan de oevers van Yamuna in het oostelijke deel van de stad. Het heeft een complexe architecturale stijl en bestaat uit 234 fraai gebeeldhouwde pilaren, 9 koepeldaken en meer dan 20.000 beelden van verschillende hindoeïstische wijzen, heiligen en acharya's (leraren). Verken de aantrekkelijke schoonheid van dit majestueuze monument terwijl je privégids de legende en verhalen over de tempel ontvouwt. Wandel door de ingewikkeld gesneden gangen en ervaar het geloof op zijn best. Laat de cultuur doordringen als u stopt met een lichte snack met uw deskundige gids. Eindelijk, getuige de spectaculaire muzikale fonteinshow, die de cyclus van geboorte, leven en dood weergeeft zoals vermeld in de Indiase mythologie. De 15 minuten durende fonteinshow heet "Cycle of Life" en vindt plaats als de zon ondergaat. - KLEDINGVOORSCHRIFT
- De tempel is een heilig huis van God en een plaats van dagelijkse aanbidding. Om zijn heiligheid en spirituele sfeer te behouden, werkt een strikte dresscode binnen het complex.
- Bovenkleding: moet de schouders, borst, navel en bovenarmen bedekken
- Lagere slijtage: Moet ten minste onder knielengte zijn
- Sarong: In het geval dat uw jurk niet voldoet aan de bovenstaande vereiste, is een gratis sarong voorzien voor uw bezoek (Restitutie aanbetaling Rs. 100) Stuur de sarong bij de uitgang terug.
- Tijdens zon- en feestdagen is het erg druk, dus je moet in de rij wachten om binnen te komen in de tempel

Our tour guide Sunil was extremely well knowledgeable and had great interpersonal skills. He helped us through security, reduced all wait times and helped us store our phones without having to wait for the cloakroom. His knowledge of the temple was amazing and guided us through the light show! I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone.

Communication was excellent from the start and our guide , Shiv , was waiting for us as advised and led us through into the Temple , it was very busy so were were very glad to have an experienced guide who knew where to go ,sorting out tickets and storing our phones, we enjoyed a tour around and inside the temple followed by the fountain show , I would recommend having a guide when you visit this temple to help you as its not easy to see where to go , where to leave things , what you can take in with you etc , Shiv was professional and friendly and made this visit very special , thank you

This extraordinarily beautiful temple, built in recent years, defies description for its soaring architecture, its beautiful intricate stone-work and statuary ,its glittering detail, its amazing reflecting ponds - you stand transfixed, gazing up at the ethereal interior. We waited in line for an hour and a half to get through security - but we were persuaded to be patient by our excellent guide Mahi, a very kind and exceptionally well-informed guide. We give him the highest marks. You definitely shouldn't miss this experience!,
