Je wordt verwelkomd in de cruisehaven van Kusadasi en bezoekt vervolgens het beroemde oude erfgoed in het Kusadasi-gebied, waaronder de oude stad Efeze, Sirince Village en meer. Na de tour ben je terug in de cruisehaven in Kusadasi-tijd. Tijdens de tour legt een professionele gids je alles uit wat je tijdens de tour ziet en meer... Omdat dit een privétour is, voel je je vrij om de tour aan te passen. De tour is voor minimaal 2 personen.

Zodra je je gids in de haven van Kusadasi hebt ontmoet, neem je de minibus die voor de haven op je wacht en ben je een half uur onderweg naar Efeze.
Wanneer we in Efeze aankomen, beginnen we deze goed bewaard gebleven oude stad te verkennen. Het was een stad in het oude Griekenland aan de kust van Ionië, 3 kilometer (1,9 mijl) ten zuidwesten van het huidige Selçuk in de provincie Izmir, Turkije. Het werd gebouwd in de 10e eeuw voor Christus op de plaats van de voormalige hoofdstad van Arzawan door Attische en Ionische Griekse kolonisten. Tijdens het klassieke Griekse tijdperk was het een van de twaalf steden die lid waren van de Ionische Liga. De stad kwam in 129 voor Christus onder controle van de Romeinse Republiek.
We hebben tijd voor de lunch die is inbegrepen. We willen je graag kennis laten maken met de lokale culturele aspecten van Efeze door handgemaakte tapijtkunst te laten zien die is gedaan door middel van traditioneel weven in het Teaching Village en je zult ook genieten van veel Efeze-keramiek.
Na de lunch gaan we verder naar Sirince, een schattig klein dorpje met een leuke geschiedenis, prachtige uitzichten, heerlijk eten, gastvrijheid en nog veel meer. Het is misschien wel de perfecte synthese van een traditioneel Turks dorp en een traditioneel Grieks dorp. In feite heette de stad, wiens naam in het Turks eigenlijk 'schattig' betekent, vroeger 'Çirkince', wat 'lelijk' betekent. Dit was een ironische kijk op de schoonheid van het dorp en werd ook gebruikt om anderen af te weren. Toen mensen beseften hoe spectaculair de locatie en architectuur van het dorp werkelijk waren, veranderden ze de naam in Şirince in 1926.

Ephesus is a spectacular, special place and well worth visiting, even if you've been to other ancient cities. The Amphitheatre is overwhelming with its size and presence, and the library gives you a sense of the learned society who lived there. Worth the visit, especially with a knowledgeable guide like the one we had.

We loved the trip. It was a quick easy pickup from the port and the ride was luxurious and comfortable. The ruins of Ephesus were awe inspiring and really showed us how advanced the city was.
