Efeze is een van de belangrijkste antieke steden ter wereld. Een wandeling bergafwaarts met uw gids brengt u naar de ruïnes van de Romeinse hoofdstad. Uw route brengt u langs het Bouleuterion, de Tempel van Domition, de Herculespoort, de Tempel van Hadrianus, de Celcusbibliotheek en ten slotte het Grote Theater.
Na Efeze wordt u naar het traditionele Turkse badhuis gebracht. Bij de ingang van het bad krijgt u munten en aanwijzingen. Nadat u zich in de kleedkamer heeft uitgekleed, wikkelt u uw lichaam in een peştamal, een traditionele katoenen lichaamswikkel. Nadat u al uw bezittingen in het daarvoor bestemde kluisje hebt gedaan (vergeet niet de sleutel altijd bij u te houden), gaat u naar het warme gedeelte met het verwarmde marmeren platform in het midden. Dit gedeelte, de sıcaklık (caldarium) genoemd, bestaat uit het grote, hete marmeren platform dat wordt omringd door badbekkens (kurna) en privébadcabines (halvet). U moet eerst uw lichaam laten zweten, door op het hete marmer te liggen of zitten of door heet water over uw lichaam te gieten door naast een van de bekkens te gaan zitten. Dan zal uw begeleider u een exfoliërende scrub en een bubbelwas geven terwijl u op het hete platform ligt. U gaat dan naar een van de bekkens en de begeleider zal u daar wassen.

Deniz was an amazing guide who took us through Ephesus, a local rug market and the Turkish bath. Very knowledgeable and engaging.
We loved our tour! They picked us up right from the port! Then we went to Ephesus city!!! Girka explained everything to us! Loved how flexible and kind they are! Then we went to a leather factory where we saw a little show displaying the products but we didn’t feel pressured to buy even tho we did! After that we had lunch in a beautiful garden and saw some Turkish rugs being handmade and lastly we boarded the bus back for the Turkish bath it was perfect day we missed the late afternoon heat! Would definitely recommend if your coming to kusadasi!

It was a wonderful day! We didn’t know what to expect & it was all a wonderful surprise. We got so much information at Ephesus - it was humbling. Lunch was great - so much food! And the Turkish bath was a perfect wrap to the day & a great start to our vacation. All 10/10

Gokche was an amazing tour guide! She was very informative, friendly, and so welcoming! She made us feel very welcome to Turkey, and can’t wait to visit Turkey for a longer trip and experience more! Fantastic opportunity to experience local Turkish customs. The Turkish bath was something I would definitely do again. We took our 13 year old daughter and she enjoyed it too. The rug making was cooler than expected and our guide, Ismael was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
