Begin de tour door het oude Delhi te verkennen. We passeren het Rode Fort, een enorm bouwwerk gebouwd door Shah Jahan tussen 1639-1648. Het diende als hoofdverblijf voor de Mughal-keizers. De architectuur van het fort weerspiegelt de Indo-islamitische en Mughal-stijl. Verbazingwekkend feit is dat het een 2 KM lange muur heeft die zeker indruk zal maken op iedereen.

Gurudwara Sis Ganj is een van de meest prominente Sikh gurdwara, of Sikh huis van aanbidding, in het oude Delhi. Het is een van de negende Sikh-heiligdommen in heel Delhi gebouwd na Guru Teg Bahardur.
Het is een prachtige 17e-eeuwse moskee aan de westkant van de oudste bazaar van Chandni Chowk. Het ligt aan het andere uiteinde van het Rode Fort.

Het is een van de grootste hindoetempels. Het werd gebouwd in 2005 en heeft het idool van Swaminarayan Akshardham omringd door kostbare en halfedelstenen.
Het was oorspronkelijk een bungalow van Indian Ruler, deze Sikh-heiligdomgeschiedenis van transformatie naar een religieuze plaats is een must bekend. Gebouwd in de jaren 1780 biedt dit heiligdom voedsel (Lungar) 24 * 7. Stop voor een lekkere lunch in het multi-cuisine restaurant.
Het staat bekend als de Taj Mahal van de 21e eeuw vanwege zijn witmarmeren schoonheid en architectuur. Het volgt Baha'i geloof.

I had an excellent experience visiting the largest Hindu Temple in Delhi. My guide, Manish was knowledgeable and his English was excellent. My driver Amandip came to my hotel promptly and we found each other easily. The car was in good condition, and I was given plenty of cold water. The tour management is organized and communication is excellent. I have felt very safe as a solo western female and was escorted carefully.
