Onze chauffeur haalt u op van uw gewenste locatie in Jaipur (hotel, treinstation, luchthaven of waar dan ook) en brengt u naar Agra. Het duurt ongeveer 4-5 uur. Als u onderweg naar een toilet of een snackpauze moet, kunt u dit aan uw chauffeur vertellen. Hij zal dit graag doen. In de 17e eeuw bouwde de vijfde Mughal-keizer Shah Jahan een prachtig witmarmeren mausoleum ter nagedachtenis aan zijn geliefde vrouw Mumtaz. Het is een van de zevende wereldwonderen. Bij de bouw van de Taj Mahal werd wit marmer gebruikt, de specialiteit van dit marmer is dat het van kleur verandert afhankelijk van het licht. Daarna ga je voor een heerlijke lunch.
Agra Fort is het op één na populairste UNESCO-werelderfgoed in de stad Agra. Het is een van de grootste en mooiste forten van de Mughal-dynastie en was ruim 200 jaar het koninklijk paleis voor de Mughal-keizers. Je hebt ook de mogelijkheid om de lokale markt van Agra te bezoeken.
Itimad-ud-Daula is een prachtig witmarmeren mausoleum in de vorm van een juwelendoos. Het werd in de 17e eeuw gebouwd door Noor Jahan, de vrouw van de vierde Mughal-keizer Jahangir, voor haar vader. Het is het eerste witmarmeren mausoleum gebouwd door de Mughals.
Na een rondreis door Agra vertrek je terug naar Jaipur met mooie herinneringen aan de stad Agra en de chauffeur zet je af op de gewenste locatie in Jaipur.
