Luxor is de thuisbasis van enkele van de meest opmerkelijke oude ruïnes van Egypte, maar met nog maar één dag over, is een privétour de beste manier om uw tijd te maximaliseren. Deze privéexcursie van een hele dag langs de kust vanuit de haven van Safaga omvat een rondleiding door de Vallei der Koningen, die op de Werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO staat; bezoeken aan de Kolossen van Memnon, de tempel van Hatsjepsoet en de Karnak-tempels; en een felucca-cruise langs de Nijl. Ophalen van de haven en lunch zijn inbegrepen.

Rijd naar Luxor. 'S Ochtends halen we u op bij de uitgangsdeur van uw cruiseschip in de haven van Safaga en brengen u met een modern AC-voertuig naar Luxor, waar u uw gids ontmoet om te bezoeken: Vallei der Koningen
Vallei der Koningen: De laatste rustplaats van de Egyptische heersers van de 18e tot de 20e dynastie. Het is de thuisbasis van graven, waaronder de grote farao Ramses II en de jonge farao Toetanchamon. De graven waren goed gevuld met alle materiële goederen die een heerser in de volgende wereld nodig zou kunnen hebben. Het grootste deel van de decoratie in de graven is nog steeds goed bewaard gebleven.
Hatshepsut-tempel: Het is een van de mooiste en best bewaarde tempels van het oude Egypte. De tempel is gebouwd op drie niveaus met twee brede hellingen in een centrale positie die de niveaus met elkaar verbinden.
Kolossen van Memnon: Twee massieve stenen beelden van koning Amenhotep III zijn de enige overblijfselen van een complete dodentempel. De beelden zijn gemaakt van blokken kwartsietzandsteen die zich in Caïro bevinden en vervolgens 700 km naar Luxor zijn verplaatst. Geniet daarna van uw lunch in het oosterse restaurant.
Karnak-tempels: Geen enkele site in Egypte is indrukwekkender dan Karnak. Het is het grootste tempelcomplex dat ooit door de mens is gebouwd. Het vertegenwoordigt de gecombineerde prestatie van vele generaties oude bouwers en farao's. De Tempel van Karnak bestaat eigenlijk uit drie hoofdtempels, gelegen op 247 hectare grond. Ten slotte brengen we u terug naar de haven van Safaga.

Perfectly Organized and Informative This private day trip exceeded all expectations. The driver was punctual and friendly, and the guide was truly an expert in Egyptian history. Karnak Temple was a masterpiece, and the Temple of Hatshepsut left us in awe of its design and history.
