Dagwandeling naar Kunjapuri naar Rishikesh - Kunjapuri is een hindoetempel gewijd aan godin Kunjadevi, een lokale godheid die veel respect afdwingt van de lokale bevolking. De tempel ligt op ongeveer 25 km rijden van de stad Rishikesh en is ook gemakkelijk bereikbaar via de weg. Je gaat 9 km bergafwaarts van de Kunjapuri-tempel naar Rishikesh. Onderweg bezoek aan de lokale bevolking en dorpen en eindig het bij een prachtige waterval. Vanaf de heuveltop waar de tempel is gebouwd, krijg je een panoramisch uitzicht op de rivier de Ganges, Rishikesh en de Indiase Himalaya-bergketen met verschillende prominente pieken zoals Bandarpunch, Swarga Rohini, Gangotri-piek en Chaukhamba en nog veel meer. De beste tijd om het prachtige uitzicht op de natuur te zien. Zonopkomst en zonsondergang.

We halen je op bij Rishikesh hotel en rijden 1 uur naar Kunjapuri Tempel via Narender Nagar. Zie de prachtige zonsopgang en Himalaya besneeuwde toppen. Na een bezoek aan de tempel beginnen we aan de 9 km lange trektocht naar Rishikesh en bezoeken we de lokale dorpen en Neer waterval. Vanaf de waterval haalt onze auto u op en zet u af bij het Rishikesh hotel.
We eindigen de tocht bij de Neer Gaddu-waterval. Toeristen kunnen daar zwemmen na het beëindigen van de wandeling.

We halen de centrale locatie van Haridwar en Rishikesh stad op. Er zijn extra ophaalkosten als u buiten de Rishikesh-stad bent, zoals Shivpuri, Neelkanth road en Rajaji National Park.

My daughter and I had a wonderful trip with Alok! He was on time and handled everything from pick up at our hotel to drop off again at the end of the day. His knowledge of the customs and traditions at Kunjapuri Mandir and also of the communities and plants along the way down to Neer waterfall was invaluable. Our love for roadside chai and “Maggie” started with him. He was kind, thoughtful, respectful and very helpful when my knees gave out 2/3rds the way down. A most embarrassing situation for me personally, but he only showed me kindness. I really feel he went above and beyond what could ever be expected and recommend him very highly. When we are in Rishikesh again, I’ll definitely request him (although this time I’ll be much better prepared). Dhanyavad Alok!

This tour was inspiring, enjoyable and restorative - even in the rain ... and partly because of it. Sure, we'd hoped for sunrise and a hike, BUT then we would have missed the truly GORGOUS VIEWS of soft clouds calmly snuggling in with and caressing the colorful mountains – a very meditative and inspiring sight! We appreciate our guide, Sachin, who thought well about us and the weather as we made the joint decision not to hike down in the slippery mud and rain. Could have tried again the next day, but we were off to other adventures after recharging our batteries at Kunjapuri Temple. Our tour was precious and awesome in its own way, and we are grateful for the experience, guide, driver and tour company. We’d choose them again in a heartbeat!

I contacted Sachin from INDIA TREKKING AND TOURS to arrange Trip for my family to Kunjapuri temple to Neer waterfall trek . I found them Via tripadvisor and I have short listed them because most of the reviews seem genuine and generally positive. With help of India trekking tours our tour went very well and got successfully completed. We highly recommend this company for any trip and trek in India.

Great experience! Sunrise at the temple with a view of the Himalayas. Trek of approximately 2.5/3 hours to reach the waterfalls (mainly descent via various paths). Swimming possible (the guide found a small cabin for us to change in complete discretion). The guide is punctual, friendly, ... and helps us on the more complicated trails. It gives us plenty of time to contemplate the sumptuous landscapes. It was wonderful ! I highly recommend this experience.
