Hawa Mahal (Paleis van de Winden) - een wonder van vijf verdiepingen met een spectaculaire piramidevormige gevel en overhangende ramen met roosters, koepels en torenspitsen.
Verken de kamers en gangen van het paleis, beroemd om het uitstekende ontwerp en de decoratie. Binnen het complex is Ganesh Pol, een imposante poort beschilderd met de beelden van de olifant geleide god - Ganesh. Het samensmelten van Rajput en Mughal architecturale stijlen wordt vastgelegd in de Sukh Niwas, Jas Mandir Apartments en de Charbagh Garden met zijn perfect geproportioneerde landschapsarchitectuur. Great day with guide Jay and driver Sing who adapted to my personal preferences to help me discover Jaipur. Not being someone that wants to do the typical tourist things, they took me to places that appealed to my need to get amazing photos of architecture or everyday life. But if you want to do all the touristy things they knew the city inside out. Picked up and dropped off at the hotel, everything was easy. Recommend bringing your own chilled water as it can get warm.

<p>the tour was just amazing. the guide and driver super attentive, well informed of the city and sites' history, artistic features and characteristics of the lives of Jaipur people throughout the centuries, including the present, as well as pertaining to weather, environment, economics and of course, food and shopping.we became fast friends and I hope to see him again, should Jaipur come up again in my travels. He was a real classy guy and had a lot of charm. He went out of his way to show me special things of interest.</p>
<p>Tour commenced around 8.30 am and initially was very good. the guide was knowledgeable and was asking what we had already seen in Jaipur. Unfortunately by mid morning the tour started to feel quite 'rushed' with the guide walking ahead of us all the time. At one point we needed to stop for water but the guide was so far ahead of us he did not hear me yelling out to him. We also visited some jewellery and textile shops at the guides recommendations and felt pressured into buying mechanise, but we didn't and soon noticed a change in everyone's attitudes, making us feel very uncomfortable. The tour ended early afternoon, so not a full day tour, but we were glad for it to have ended.</p>
<p>Guide was very informative, and we saw a lot. Only recommendation would be to be a bit more communicative leading up to tour e.g. additional confirmation, and to be a bit more open in planning out the sites to be seen during the day.</p>
