Onze vertegenwoordiger haalt u op bij uw hotel in Sharm El Sheikh. U wordt vervolgens naar de luchthaven van Sharm El Sheikh gebracht om uw vlucht naar Caïro te nemen. Op de luchthaven van Caïro wordt u opgewacht en bijgestaan door een van onze vertegenwoordigers.
Onze Egyptoloog-gids zal je vergezellen om de grote piramide van Gizeh te bezoeken, het enige bestaande wonder van de zeven wonderen van de antieke wereld. Op het plateau van Gizeh zie je niet alleen de grote piramide van Khufu, bekend als Cheops, maar ook de piramide van Chefren, de piramide van Mykerinus, de valleitempel van Chefren en de iconische Grote Sfinx. Van daaruit wordt u naar het Grand Egyptian Museum gebracht, 's werelds grootste museum gewijd aan het oude Egypte. Hier kunt u een uitzonderlijke collectie artefacten van duizenden jaren verkennen, waaronder de complete schatten van de jongenskoning Toetanchamon die voor het eerst samen worden getoond.
Na het museum heb je ook de kans om rond te dwalen in de oudste bazaar in het Midden-Oosten, de Khan El Khalili Bazaar, waar je de sfeer zult voelen van het leven in islamitisch Caïro honderden jaren geleden. De bazaar dateert uit 1382, A.D., en is slechts een van de fascinerende plekken die we zullen zien, waardoor je een echt voorproefje krijgt van de oude stad Caïro.
Aan het einde van de dag wordt u naar de luchthaven van Caïro gebracht voor een vlucht terug naar Sharm El Sheikh.
Zodra u terug bent in Sharm el Sehikh, staat onze chauffeur op u te wachten om u terug te brengen naar uw hotel

We had the full-day Cairo tour with Nasser as our guide, taking us around the Pyramids of Giza, the local area, and some traditional shops. Nasser had a wealth of knowledge about ancient Egyptian history, which made the experience even more enjoyable. He also went above and beyond by helping me organise and capture the moment when I proposed to my partner outside the pyramids. A special mention also goes to Mohammed, our driver, who did a fantastic job navigating Cairo’s busy roads and getting us everywhere safely. Thank you both for making such an unforgettable day. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and driver, and we’d highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Egypt.

After some hiccups with the flights, we were able to go on our excursion to Cairo. Pyramids, sphinx, camel, great museum, papyrus, etc... our guide Ali showed us everything. He speaks French very well, and the driver Mohamed was excellent.
