Omarm het beste van Oia dorp. Uniek in elk opzicht met iconische blauwe koepelkerken, schilderachtige paden, een prachtig uitzicht en de meest spectaculaire zonsondergang. Een van de meest gefotografeerde plaatsen in Griekenland, Oia ligt op de top van een indrukwekkende klif en biedt een spectaculair uitzicht over de vulkaan en de Egeïsche zee. Het dorp heeft verschillende culturele bezienswaardigheden zoals : Het Maritiem museum, de sporen van een Venetiaans fort en de Kapiteinshuizen. U kunt net zo goed het grote winkelen verkennen en genieten van een drankje in een van de verschillende openluchtcafés. De wereldberoemde zonsondergang in Oia is beschikbaar door te kiezen voor een middag vertrek.
Wandel over de smalle paden van het traditionele dorp Megalochori. Deze nederzetting bestaat uit honderden kleine witgeschilderde huizen met prachtige architectuur, kleine steegjes, torenklokken, prachtige blauwe koepelkapellen en ondergrondse grotwoningen. In deze schilderachtige en niet-toeristische omgeving, zult u zich echt koesteren in de lokale cultuur en levensstijl.
In het uiterste zuidwesten van Santorini bezoekt u de vuurtoren. Gebouwd in 1892, wordt het beschouwd als een van de mooiste van de Cycladen en een uniek punt om de zonsondergang te bekijken. Staande op de rand van een hoge klif recht boven de zee, de positie is ideaal voor het nemen van panoramische foto's en het bewonderen van Santorini's beroemde Caldera vanuit een ander oogpunt.
Bekijk het Rode strand, het meest unieke natuurlijke strand van het eiland, waar rood de dominante kleur is. Maak geweldige foto's van de enorme vulkanische rotsen en de steile heuvels die een boeiend wild landschap creëren. Dit prachtige vulkanische landschap zal uw volledige aandacht trekken.
Ga verder naar het zuidelijkste punt van Santorini en ontspan bij Perissa - Perivolos Black Beach. Het is het langste en beroemdste strand van Santorini en een unieke aanblik van het vulkanische eiland. Geniet van vrije tijd, zwem in het kristalheldere water van de Egeïsche Zee, maak foto's op het zwarte lavazand en proef eventueel traditionele gerechten in een taverne aan zee.
Ga naar de Berg van Profeet Elias en bewonder het meest adembenemende uitzicht vanaf de hoogste top van het eiland. Vanaf dit uitkijkpunt geniet u van een opvallend uitzicht over het hele eiland. De naam van de berg is Profitis Ilias (Profeet Elias), afkomstig van het klooster met dezelfde naam op de top, gebouwd in 1711. Terwijl u in deze prachtige en rustige omgeving verblijft, kunt u net zo goed wijn en lokale producten proeven die zijn gemaakt door de monniken, die in het klooster verblijven.
Dit charmante dorp is omgeven door wijngaarden, kerken met blauwe koepels, smalle grotwoningen met charmante balkons en kiezelpaden.

The tour was excellent and the tour guide kostis was amazing. He clearly loved his job and treated us like family. Very knowledgeable and attentive. He altered the tour to accommodate our needs. Thanos are guide was amazing. He took us to the busy touristy area first that's along the coast and where you a dropped off from the cable car. Beautiful area but so busy! Then to his hometown Megalochori where he grew up. That was much less touristy and gave you a sense what real island life is like. Then a quick stop to get some local homemade bakery treats before we went to Red Beach and then the black sand beach where we had the best meal of the trip at Forty One beach side restaurant. Don't hesitant to book a private 6 hour tour and ask for Thanos to be your guide, he is the 9th generation of his family that has lived on the island. You will not be dissapointed!

Thanos was an excellent driver and guide. He put together a tour of the most popular sites in Santorini but added a small village as other unique stops (i.e a wonderful Greek bakery that put most bakery’s found in the states to shame). He shared with us the culture of the local residents. We were a group of six that included four adults (60-78) and two teenagers (14 and 18) He was able to keep all of us entertained. If you are planning on a cruise that stops in Santorini I would highly recommending booking a tour with this company and ask for Thanos
