Beschrijving
Privérondleiding om de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden in de oude stad Cartagena in detail te bezoeken. Deze uitstekende ervaring begint met een bezoek aan de belangrijkste monumenten van de stad, zoals de La Popa-heuvel. Het hoogste punt van de stad waar een klooster staat uit het begin van de zeventiende eeuw. daarna bezoeken we het fort San Felipe de Barajas, dat wordt beschouwd als het belangrijkste militaire fort in Zuid-Amerika. Vervolgens gaat de tour naar de ommuurde stad en de Boheemse wijk Getsemaní. eerst een stop om te winkelen in het laatste gebouwde fort genaamd "Las Bovedas", daarna maken we een wandeltocht en bezoeken we de verschillende pleinen van de stad (St Domingo Square, Bolivar Square, Los Coches Square, Aduana Square, Clock Tower, St Pedro Square) en bewonder de oude koloniale huizen vol geschiedenis en legendes. Aan het einde maken we een rondleiding door het moderne deel van Cartagena (Bocagrande, Laguito en Castillogrande).

Luis and Trefone were an amazing duo! Luis was extremely knowledgeable and Trefone easily navigated traffic. They were both kind and attentive and made sure we were able to see everything included in the tour itinerary even after our cruise ship was delayed getting into port. Scion Tours responded quickly and were understanding of the situation when I messaged them the morning of our tour to let them know that we would be late for pickup. I would highly recommend this tour for a port day!
Excellent…fun time. We took the boat out to tge reefs and spent a good amount of time snorkeling. Throughly enjoyed the experience
Nico was a phenomenal tour guide. He knew everything about Cartagena. Got to see all the main sights, some on foot and some from the nicely air conditioned car. Don’t forget your sunscreen and water!
My friend booked a private tour with J.J. following a food tour when our cruise ship was in port. J.J. arranged a time and place to meet us, and he was there early. We had some time constraints, and he worked with those. He took us on a walking tour which we enjoyed, and drove us through other areas before taking us to a high area with a great view of the city. We very much enjoyed our brief stay in Cartagena and though J.J. was a great guide. Highly recommend.
