Bhaktapur Durbar Square
Gelegen in het centrum van het Bhaktapur Durbar-plein, werd het 55 raampaleis, of Palace of Fifty-Five Windows, gebouwd door koning Bhupatindra Malla. Tegenwoordig staat het 55 Window Palace nog steeds als Bhaktapur's Royal Palace bij ceremoniële gelegenheden.
Nyatapola-tempel is een hindoetempel met 5 verdiepingen. Betekenis is vijf verdiepingen tellende overdekte tempel. De tempel van de pagodestijl in Bhaktapur, Nepal wordt gevestigd dat. De tempel werd gebouwd door Nepalese koning Bhupatindra Malla gedurende een periode van 7 maanden van eind 1702 tot 1703
Verborgen in winkelstraten steegjes die naar het zuiden lopen van de bochtige weg naar Taumadhi Tole, is Potters 'Sq precies wat je zou verwachten - een openbaar plein vol pottenbakkerswielen en rijen kleipotten die in de zon drogen. Nabijgelegen gebouwen werden beschadigd door de aardbeving van 2015, maar het leven - en aardewerk - op het plein gaat door. Dit is het centrum van de keramische industrie van Bhaktapur en het is een fascinerende plek om rond te dwalen. Our day with Shankar from Breakfree Adventures was so enjoyable and interesting. Shankar was waiting for us at our hotel at the appointed time and we set off for a wonderful adventure in the mountains. He shared the history of the area on the way, and we got to enjoy a wonderful forrest hike to reach the suspension bridge. We ate lunch at an atmospheric rooftop restaurant in Bhaktapur before exploring the lovely town. I highly recommend this tour. Our experience was made very special by Shankar. Our guide Shankar was brilliant! When we didn’t get a view of the mountains he gave us another experience through a forest with a swing bridge and swimming holes. Shankar’s knowledge of Nepalese history and culture was extensive and fascinating. Dhanyabad Shankar!

Shankar is the best guide ever. Super knowledgeable and gave me the best background to Hinduism I have ever heard. He sat down to explain the history behind the 3 Durbar squares before we left and it’s featured so I. Pils look out for them. Super flexible cos I was able to add patan to my trip and a short hike to the waterfalls and suspension bridges at Nargakort. Sujan’s driving was perfect and smooth, especially on the mountain road. car was super comfortable. Ask for them.

This was the best guide in KTM. We scheduled tours via our hotel but this was much better. The tour was nice, the storytelling was good and the shopping was better. Probably the best area in KTM

Couldn’t recommend this tour enough, Shankar was incredibly knowledgeable about the local area and history of Nepal and we learnt so much! He went above and beyond to make the tour special and we felt really well looked after on this private tour. The scenic views from Nagarkot were amazing and we got a really good sense of life outside of Kathmandu. The history and beautiful buildings of Bhaktapur were equally unforgettable, with beautiful architecture and rich history brought to life through the stories and insights Shankar shared as we explored. I joined the Nagarkot tour. Razz was my tour guide and Sujan drove us around. The ride was comfortable and I got to visit different sites at Nagarkot like the suspension bridge, Buddha Peace Park and the famous view point. There was a little bit of rain but the weather was comfortable and cool. Razz was keen and friendly and shared much information about Nepal and Buddhism. The tour was really enjoyable and I highly recommend it.
