Venetië is een van de meest bezochte steden van Italië. Maar slechts weinig toeristen weten, naast de historische en artistieke bezienswaardigheden, welke natuurlijke wonderen de stad te bieden heeft, met name die welke verbonden zijn met de lagune. Aan boord van een houten boot met een lokale gids ontdekt u de lagune en de omgeving, die zonder boot ontoegankelijk is. U kunt het Arsenale bewonderen, het symbool van de Serenissima. Het hart van de Venetiaanse scheepsbouw.U zult het eiland Vignole observeren. Vroeger heette het Biniola, ofwel "van de zeven wijngaarden". Hier kunt u het eiland Lazzaretto Nuovo zien. In 1468 vaardigde de Senaat van de Serenissima een decreet uit waarin een lazaret op het eiland werd ingesteld om besmetting te voorkomen. Het eiland werd een plaats van "verzet": hier werd de "quaranta" ingesteld voor schepen die vanuit de verschillende havens van de Middellandse Zee aankwamen. We stoppen bij een "Ghebo" en op verzoek, dat al bij de prijs is inbegrepen, kan ik wat prosecco meenemen, zodat we de zonsondergang met zijn magische kleuren kunnen bewonderen.Het tijdschema kan worden gewijzigd.

Je observeert het eiland Lazaretto Nuovo. Archeologische vondsten getuigen van menselijke aanwezigheid vanaf de bronstijd. In 1468 werd bij decreet van de Senaat van de Serenissima een Lazaretto op het eiland opgericht om besmettingen te voorkomen. Het eiland werd een plaats van 'contumacy': hier werd de 'forty' opgezet voor schepen die arriveerden uit verschillende Middellandse Zeehavens.
Je observeert het eiland Vignole. Vakantieoord van de vroege Venetianen. Het eiland heette vroeger Biniola, of 'van de zeven wijnstokken' en was een vakantiebestemming voor de inwoners van eerst Altino en daarna Venetië.

We booked this tour to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. Pier was incredibly kind and welcoming, and he took us around Venice while sharing interesting stories about the different places we passed. The views were absolutely breathtaking, especially during sunset. It was a relaxing and memorable experience, and my husband loved getting the chance to drive the boat. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a unique way to see Venice!

Lovely mellow sunset cruise learning about the quieter islands surrounding downtown Venice. Pierangelo was so nice and accommodating. Highly recommend.

I would highly recommend booking this a trip. It was a wonderful evening out and about on our host boat. I know others have commented about the small boat, however it was perfect to see all the islands and everything around Venice with an unobstructed view. Amazing sunset, drinks appetizers and great company! Host was very knowledgeable, friendly and took us to sites we would have never seen.

Venice is a place of water and boats, but we would not have seen the perimeter of Venice or learned about some of the neighboring islands the way we did if we hadn't been on this tour. Our guide was wonderful. He proactively asked if we would like to switch the day of our tour due to the possibility of bad weather which ended up being a great suggestion. He was very knowledgable and kindly answered all of our questions about Venice. He provided a delicious bottle of prosecco and some homemade caprese skewers, and he even went out of his way to drop us back off right at our hotel at the end of the tour instead of taking us back to the original drop off spot since it was way across town from our hotel. Would very much recommend this tour!

After so many years of visiting Venice and after visiting the lagoon far and wide by other means, with my wife we thought of living a new experience and so we booked this cruise with Pierangelo. Never has a choice been better than this. It was such a pleasant experience that we recommend it to anyone, whether they are in Venice for the first time, or even to those who know it well. Pierangelo is a very pleasant and welcoming person, great connoisseur of his lagoon and its Venice. Sailing gently in the lagoon with its beautiful and comfortable boat is a real pleasure. Admiring Venice and its islands and its nature from the boat will make you experience unique sensations that you will never forget (especially at sunset). Absolutely 10/10 experience! Went with my partner and we had the best evening, such a friendly and warming host. We missed our flight due to airport delays and he was so accommodating changing to a new date. It was so nice to see different locations from the water and places you wouldn’t normally see, compared to the hustle and bustle of the city and the classic tourist spots. The water was so warm so bring your swimming costumes as you can jump in would definitely book again when in Venice and this is a must do on your trip to Venice!!!! Amazing time.

This tour was the highlight of our trip up Venice. Pier was our tour guide. He has been a resident his entire life and owns a small boat. He took us to places that most tourists do not get to experience and explained the history and background of each location. He also provided a bottle of prosecco and caprese appetizers. The tour started at 6:15 and lasted until approximately 8:30. We were able to experience an incredible sunset and have our pictures taken. Pier also suggested a great local restaurant not far from where he picked us up and dropped us off at. We highly recommend doing this tour if you want an authentic experience in Venice. Thanks Walt
