Spanje is een van de meest productieve wijnlanden. 70 Oorsprongsbenamingen en minimaal 23 inheemse druivensoorten. Je leert belangrijke feiten over enkele van de meest prominente wijnregio's in Spanje, zoals Rioja en Ribera del Duero, maar je krijgt ook een voorproefje van minder bekende Spaanse wijnregio's die momenteel uitstekende wijnen maken. Lilliana was w wonderful guide. She was knowledgeable, friendly and very competent. Took us to 4 Tapas restaurants/bars. Gave us a brief history of Madrid along the way. As walking is a bit of a challenge to me she was understanding of that situation.
Jimena was excellent! Her knowledge of wine, food and culture was outstanding. She customized the tour to our likes and interests. We highly recommend. We would rate her 11 out of 10.

What a wonderful experience! Jimena was the highlight as she is knowledgeable, warm & charismatic. Very generous pours of wine, full glasses unlike other tasting tours I’ve been on. The food paired well & was delicious, especially the piping hot fried calamari. Tried Vermouth for the first time which was surprising & delightful. It was on tap at a charming tavern that’s been around since 1908. Worth the price & Jimena takes personal preferences into consideration

Fantastic tour! Jimena is a wonderful, engaging guide who has a wealth of knowledge. The places visited along with the wine and food provided were excellent.
We had a great time with Jimena. We went to several different cute places and tasted really great wine and tapas. Notably, the last tapa was supposed to be potato brava, and when I told her I prefered a spanish tortilla we actually changed places to a place she liked more for that particular dish and it really was outstanding. I also really enjoyed getting to see the Chueca neighborhood.

Jemina was so accommodating to our adjusted travel schedule. We got a great overall feel for spanish food and beverages in the places she took us. Found out Vermouth isn't so bad! She was so knowledgeable about wines and the local culture. She showed us a great evening! Highly recommend.
A wonderful way to start off our visit to Madrid! Jimena is just terrific, so friendly and welcoming. Not only did we taste some wines and tapas, we also had vermouth which was a really pleasant surprise. This is not your martini vermouth (in case you were wondering); definitely worth trying! Jimena is also a sommelier, provided lots of great information about the different wine regions throughout Spain. I particularly liked the Monastrell. She shared lots of history about some of the restaurants we visited, places we would never have found on our own. Highly recommend this private tour!
