Dit grote plein werd gebouwd in XIII eeuw als openluchtmarkt. Tegenwoordig is het een hart van de stad met veel restaurants en pubs. De meest populaire plek om uit te gaan en mensen te ontmoeten.
Het grote gotische gebouw in het midden van het plein ziet eruit als een kerk, maar is gebouwd voor het stadsbestuur. Tegenwoordig is het een museum met een galerij van beroemde inwoners van Wrocław
Een extra plek gecreëerd om zout, honing en leer te verkopen. Tegenwoordig kun je er 24/7 bloemen kopen.
Beide gebouwen zien eruit als uit een sprookje. Oorspronkelijk waren ze gebouwd voor altaristen die in St. Elisabeth kerk.
De St. Elisabethkerk is in haar geschiedenis vele malen vernield.
Naast de St. Elisabethkerk staat het Dietrich Bonhoffer Memorial. Hij was een beroemde protestantse teoloog die lid was van de anti-nazi-oppositie in Duitsland.

Een prachtige barokke kerk.
Het oude jezuïetengymnasium (middelbare school) dat nu het Ossolinski Instituut huisvest - een enorme bibliotheek en uitgeverij.
Een mooi gebied met enkele oude barokke gebouwen.
Een oude winkelplaats met een unieke constructie. Het is een goede plek voor koffieremmen!
Het oudste deel van de stad waar alles begon, dat moet je gezien hebben!

Our custom tour with Michal was everything we hoped it would be and more. He gave us an excellent introduction to the most delightful city of Wroclaw including history architecture, culture, and helped us discover things we would never have found on our own. None of this was strictly by script and while always professional, Michal's personality came through and enhanced the tour. I would recommend him without reservation.

Very complete walk. Guide Michal gives alot of info and responds to questions extensively. Guide is adaptative and will modify the tour to your taste.

I have a BSc degree in tourism and have organized many trips myself. I give my highest recommendations to our tour guide Michal. He is very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He was prepared to talk to any topic and answered all of our questions in detail. Michal was even answering questions that had nothing to do with the tour. He was funny, informative and kind.
Very interesting as well as informative, gave us a good introduction to the city and the history of the city -which is incredible, as well as the cultural part.
It was a very interst walk with a lot of informations, things to see and some secrets about the wonderful Wroclaw
Would highly recommend this tour, guide was very knowledgeable on Wrocław’s history and its pivotal place in Europe’s troubled history. City is very suitable to explore on foot and all the little dwarfs would be missed if not travelling by foot!!
