Uitleg van dit geweldige plein, startpunt van de stad.
Dit is het grootste koninklijk paleis van West-Europa. Het paleis was bijna 200 jaar de officiële residentie van de Spaanse koninklijke familie en wordt vandaag de dag nog steeds gebruikt voor hofceremonies en officiële entertainment. We bezoeken de State Rooms en de Royal Armory. De toegangsprijs is 10 € per persoon.
Dit is een moderne kathedraal die in 1993 werd voltooid.
Prachtig oud plein waar u het oude stadhuis en het oudste huis van Madrid ziet.
We zullen deze voormalige oude voedselmarkt betreden en bezoeken die een trendy plek is geworden waar je tijdens je verblijf in Madrid kunt genieten van wat tapas of een drankje. Tegenwoordig is het een delicatessenmarkt.
Het "Plaza Mayor" of het centrale plein is een van de meest charmante plekken in Madrid. Ontmoetingspunt van reizigers en de lokale bevolking. Je leert over de geschiedenis van deze plek en de smalle en verborgen hoekjes in de buurt.
Dit is het hart van de stad, lawaaierig, vol leven, ontmoetingspunt voor de lokale bevolking. Je ontdekt met ons de hoogtepunten van deze beroemde plek.

Highly recommend this tour! Mariluz was Great with our 8 and 11 year old boys, making the palace and old town tour interesting and engaging. The time flew by and we learned a lot about the city. Skip the big tours and do a private tour instead!

Unfortunately, the tour didn't happen. The website said to meet at our hotel/rental, but this is the confirmation email we received: Please meet us at: Pl. de Isabel II Madrid, Madrid 28013 Get directions › We waited at the Plaza for an hour, and I even returned to the rental to see if anyone was waiting, but we never connected with the guide. Communication was partially my fault, because my phone was broken, but guide said she also waited an hour at the rental and I did not see her.

Mariluz was an amazing guide. She was engaging and very informative. My two daughters age 8 and 10 loved the experience, exploring the Prado and the Royal Palace, as well as learning about the architecture and history of the city.

Mariluz provided a wonderful Madrid adventure for my 10 year old daughter. We saw all the best sights and she made the history engaging and exciting for us both. Mariluz was an incredible guide! She created a perfect 4 day itinerary for my husband and me and our friends to tour all of the must-see sights, as well as some hidden gems. She was extraordinarily knowledgeable about all things art and history. We learned so much. It is obvious she is passionate about sharing everything she knows about one of the most vibrant cities in the world, Madrid, and the surrounding beautiful towns Segovia, Ávila and Toledo. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with her. On a personal note, she accompanied me to see if anyone in the family I lived with in Madrid 40 years ago as a college student still lived in the same apartment. They did!
