De toren van Pisa is de klokkentoren van de kathedraal van Santa Maria Assunta, aan de beroemde Piazza del Duomo, waarvan het het beroemdste monument is vanwege de karakteristieke helling, het symbool van Pisa en onder de iconische symbolen van Italië. Het is een klokkentoren op zich, 57 meter hoog
De doopkapel van San Giovanni is een van de monumenten van de Piazza dei Miracoli in Pisa; het rijst op voor de westelijke gevel van de kathedraal van Santa Maria Assunta, ten zuiden van de monumentale begraafplaats.
Campo Santo, ook wel bekend als het monumentale Camposanto of het oude Camposanto, is een historische monumentale begraafplaats in Pisa, die de noordkant van Piazza del Duomo afsluit.
In dit gebied was er het oude Romeinse forum van de stad Pisa. Het plein was het politieke hart van het middeleeuwse Pisa, een plaats voor feesten en discussies: de Gastaldo, de koninklijke functionaris die de stad bestuurde, woonde er al in het Lombardische tijdperk.

What an astounding hour and a half! Carolina was right on time, checked in about my passions and preferances, and off we went. She took care with my concerns about a bad back, walking slower an sitting some. Carolina is charming, extremely knowledgable, and loves her city. Every moment was packed with fun and interesting facts. She brought the past to life! Even after our time she offered a few suggestions on how to enjoy my time in Pisa. I can' reccomend this tour highly enough!

This private tour with me and my friend should have EASILY been a 5-star review, as our guide was excellent! Unfortunately, she 'apparently' was duped by another couple that claimed they were us so she took them on our tour for and hour while we waited for her to show up (we were, in fact, 10 min early for our appt, so was very surprising she would have accepted 2 others and not ask for identification or proof of purchase). Once we call Viator & a mgr corrected the problem it was great. Also, correspondence with person on the phone AND the manager was very quick & professional. They handled the problem beautifully. Suggest in the future the ask their customers for ID at the meeting site.

The Cathedral was closed which we were not told ahead of time, which was disappointing. Our guide was ok, a bit too enthusiastic and didn’t let us have time to digest the information she was giving us a bit overwhelming.

Our guide, Sara, was excellent and showed us the history and culture of Pisa. She gave us insight and a personal connection to her city with excellent recommendations for lunch.
