Het Marshan Palace is een paleis van de koning van Marokko in de wijk Marshan in Tanger. Stop om de spectaculaire architectuur en kunst te verkennen.
Het Perdicaris-park, ook bekend als het Rmilat-bos en voorheen Villa Aidonia of Plaats van de Nachtegalen, is een openbaar park van 70 hectare in de wijk Rmilat in Tanger, Marokko. Het is gelegen op de noordelijke hellingen van de Jebel Kebir-heuvel met uitzicht op de Straat van Gibraltar, tussen het Kaap Spartel-reservaat in het westen en het Jebel Kebir-koninklijk paleis in het oosten. Het is vernoemd naar de Grieks-Amerikaanse opmerkelijke Ion Hanford Perdicaris, die het in de jaren 1870 creëerde en daar halverwege 1904 werd ontvoerd tijdens het Perdicaris-incident. Kaap Spartel is een voorgebergte in Marokko, ongeveer 300 meter boven de zeespiegel, bij de ingang van de Straat van Gibraltar, 12 km ten westen van Tanger. Het is het meest noordwestelijke punt van het Afrikaanse continent.
De Grotten van Hercules is een archeologisch grottencomplex. Grotten van Hercules. De grot heeft twee openingen, één naar de zee en één naar het land. De zeeopening staat bekend als 'De kaart van Afrika'. Er wordt aangenomen dat de Feniciërs de zeeopening hebben gecreëerd, die vanaf de zee gezien de vorm heeft van Afrika.

De Jardin de la Mendoubia is een van de vele groene ruimtes in de stad Tanger. Het ligt niet ver van Place du 9 April 1947.
De Kasbah van Tanger bevindt zich in het bovenste deel van de medina. Met andere woorden: om de kasbah te bezoeken moet je naar de medina gaan, een klein universum vol leven, en dan door de steile straatjes naar het oudste deel navigeren. De voormalige citadel dateert van rond de tiende eeuw en is, hoewel geleidelijk aan veranderd, nog steeds voldoende van zijn oorspronkelijke kenmerken behouden om je terug in de tijd te vervoeren.
Het was het eerste Amerikaanse openbare bezit in het buitenland en het enige Amerikaanse nationale historische monument in het buitenland. De legatie werd opgericht op 17 mei 1821 na tientallen jaren van hartelijke betrekkingen tussen de VS en Marokko; Sultan Mohammed ben Abdallah had op 20 december 1777 een proclamatie uitgevaardigd waarin hij de Amerikaanse onafhankelijkheid van Groot-Brittannië erkende, waarmee zijn land de eerste was die dit deed.
De synagoge werd gebouwd door Moshe Nahon, een bankier en actief lid van de Joodse gemeenschap van Tanger.

Rida was a wonderful engaging guide. Very knowledgeable listing facts and figures while also adding personal anecdotes and insider tips. He showed our group some of the classic and iconic sights as well as some less traveled spots gaining access to some sites and locations we wouldn’t have unless he was our guide. We had a two mad team guiding us. They worked well together and made sure everyone was well taken care of and all questions were answered. Fun and interesting for all.
Hamza took us around Tangier and we had a marvelous time. He shared the history and highlights of a wonderful city. Loved the camel ride along the beach!

Our guide was Mohammed, we couldn’t ask for a better tour guide. He knew everyone in the market, Hercules cave, the kasbah, and everyone other place we went too. He is very patient with kids and knowledgeable. Generally the right places to shop, the lunch is an Authentic Moroccan food dish which we loved, there are options for kids too. At the end of the tour you get treats for refreshments at the end of the market but very good.

First half of the tour the driver to the sights was terrific. He was informative, helpful and friendly. Second half, the walking through the Kasbah was disappointing and off putting. We are slow walkers and the young man was several yards ahead of us almost the whole time , on his phone or talking to a friend that was with him part of the time. Worse, we were steered to only two or three shops that this tour company owns or has some affiliation with. And the guide was upset when I did not want to sit through an argan oil spiel that I had absolutely no interest in. Very disappointed to not have a chance to poke around the many little stalls that we walked past in the long walk to the guide’s chosen places.
