Begin aan een privétour van 6 uur naar Cu Chi-tunnels en rustieke bezienswaardigheden op het platteland. De Cu Chi Tunnels Tour biedt een inleiding tot de historische betekenis ervan tijdens de oorlog in Vietnam. Je wordt opgehaald bij je hotel en dan reizen we voorbij de typische toeristische plekken van de stad naar een lokale wijk Cu Chi, waar je je rustig, vredig en gelukkig voelt terwijl je door vele groene rijstvelden, rubberplantages en waterbuffels rijdt.
Wanneer u aankomt, zullen wij de volgende activiteiten uitvoeren: 1: Kijken naar een documentaire over de oorlog in Vietnam. Vervolgens laten we u het diagram zien van Cu Chi-tunnels en hoe deze zijn gebouwd met keukens, slaapkamers, opslagplaatsen, wapenfabrieken, veldhospitalen en commandocentra.
2. We zullen boobytraps en valluiken zien. Het hoogtepunt van de reis is het ervaren van kruipen en lopen door de krappe en smalle doorgangen. Er zijn nu gereconstrueerde kamers die je kunt zien, zoals het was in de tijd van oorlog
3. Meer leren over de handgemaakte wapens en vallen die tijdens de oorlog in Vietnam werden gebruikt. Leren hoe de lokale guerrillastrijders de sandalen ook van vrachtwagenbanden maakten
4. Drink hete thee en eet tapioca (guerrillavoedsel tijdens de oorlog) bij de laatste stop. En last but not least: als u geïnteresseerd bent, kunnen we tegen een meerprijs de schietbaan bezoeken.
We keren terug naar Ho Chi Minh-stad.

It was great to listen to the tour guide enthusiastic historical review on the political history of Vietnam. It started with the different types of colonialism to the Vietnam War and ended with independence. The site of the tunnels was well presented and again the tour guide was very informative.

We had a great experience learning the history of the Cu Chi tunnels and the Vietnam war. James our guide was amazing! Very knowledgeable, friendly and fun. Highly recommend using his services.
Our private tour with James was really great. He was punctual and we had a comfortable SUV for the 2 hour ride. He chatted with us the whole way there which made the trip fly by. He is very interesting and gave just right level of information. He loves history and it shows! His English is really good too. We stopped at the lacquer shop in the way which we weren’t as interested in, so we made it a quick stop. We went in the afternoon (11am departure) so it wasn’t too crowded at the tunnels. I think most large tours go in the morning. The Cu Chi tunnels tour was really interesting. I highly recommend this tour and request James if you can!
