Deze volledig privé, uitgebreide Van & Walk-combinaties tonen alle hoogtepunten op één dag en bieden veel ideeën om meer van deze prachtige stad te verkennen. Begin om 09:00 uur bij elk accommodatie (hotel/vakantiehuis), treinstation of pieren binnen de stadsgrenzen. Het rijsegment omvat: Ringboulevard/Hofburgpaleis, reuzenrad, Donau, Hundertwasserhause, Flaktorens uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog, Belvedere City View, Schönbrunn Garden View, Secession en meer. De Inner City Walking Tour verkent de voetgangersgebieden van de oude stad en eindigt bij de Stephansdom. De deskundige Oostenrijkgids is de hele dag bij u. Voor het rijgedeelte bieden wij een sedan of busje met chauffeur en airconditioning. Overweeg alstublieft onze opties! De basisversie/Van&Walk) duurt 7 uur. (09:00-16:00) – een verlenging van een uur (8 uur) maakt een binnenbezoek aan Upper Belvedere (Klimt's Kiss) mogelijk. – Een opsplitsing in twee dagdelen is mogelijk. Staatsoper Een van 's werelds 4 toonaangevende operahuizen, open voor rondleidingen maar het best gewaardeerd tijdens een optreden. Het Sacher-hotel gebouwd met de opbrengst van de beroemde "Sacher-Torte", 's werelds eerste chocoladetaart.
Op de meest monumentale binnenplaats van het Hofburg-paleis staat het beruchte balkon dat Hitler gebruikte voor zijn 'Anschluss-Speech'.
Het reuzenrad opereert meer dan 120 jaar en is een van de vijf belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden van Wenen.
Een volkshuisvestingsproject vol eco-fantasie
Het beste barokke tuinpaleis van de stad, panoramisch uitzicht op de stad. Geen toegang voor tuin en uitzicht.
We gaan de tuinen in en genieten van de vergezichten.
Iconisch Arte Nouveau-gebouw, ook te zien op de achterkant van de 50 € cent-munt geslagen in Oostenrijk.
Naschmarkt De 'buik' van Wenen biedt een mix van markt en eetgelegenheden in historische (1915) marktkramen.
Rond de Rathausplatz culmineert de Ring in gebouwen als het Parlement, Burgtheater en Rathaus. Van eind juni tot begin september is het de locatie van de voedselbeurs van de stad. 's Avonds worden er in het enorme openluchttheater muziekfilms vertoond. Het nabijgelegen Café Landtmann was Freuds favoriet!
Nu begint ons Walking Segment! Omringd door de rozencollectie van de stad viert de tempel van Theseus de Griekse bevrijding in de jaren 1820.
Het centrum van politieke macht voor meer dan 700 jaar heeft nu ook verschillende musea, de Schatkist en de Spaanse rijschool.
In het centrum van de Graben-boulevard dateert dit barokke monument uit de gewelddadige conflicten tussen katholieken en lutheranen.
Al bijna 600 jaar lang houdt deze berg van geloof het centrum van de stad in stand en domineert de skyline van de stad zelfs in de 21ste eeuw.

Our tour with Brigitte has been fantastic! In 7 hours we have visited many monuments of Vienna and made the most of our stop in the city with the river cruise. Absolutely recommended, we would repeat without hesitation!!

Peter picked us up right on time, and had a wonderful tour planned. We had asked him if we could see several different places, and he made sure that happened. He explained the history of the buildings and parks; which was very interesting. We knew most of the history from our school days, but to actually see the city as we discussed the history was priceless. Vienna is a beautiful city; and I think we had the best tour.

Walter, our guide, was the best thing about this tour. Having a private care is a luxury but is pricey. However I would have paid the price for the excellent guide we had. He was knowledgeable and experienced and was able to showcase details of everything we saw.
Thank you Nauman! Yes, Austria is a high-wage country and we don’t do “driver guides”. Our “Van & Walk” tours are optimized by service/information not minimized to affordability. Staying at the “Imperial” – our 1# state reception hotel – you were aiming for that, we guess? By the way – OUR tour costs the same staring from a 2* hotel!
We only had one whole day to really experience everything in Vienna. Walter was amazing… He showed us everything plus listened to what he thought we would like to see in addition to the things we had originally planned.
