De reuzenschommel werd in 1784 gebouwd voor het Devasathan-heiligdom door koning Rama I. Tijdens de regering van Rama II werd de schommelceremonie stopgezet omdat de schommel structureel beschadigd was geraakt door blikseminslag. In 1920 werd het gerenoveerd en verplaatst naar de huidige locatie om plaats te maken voor een gasfabriek. De ceremonie werd opnieuw uitgevoerd tot 1935, toen het werd stopgezet na verschillende dodelijke ongevallen.
Wat Ratchanadda Tempel is een koninklijke tempel die vooral bekend staat om Loha Prasat of Metal Castle, een zeer uniek bouwwerk op de skyline van Bangkok. In 1846 gaf koning Rama III opdracht tot de bouw van de Wat Ratchanatdaram Worawihan, zoals de tempel officieel heet.
Het Democratiemonument werd in 1939 opgericht om de revolutie van 1932 te herdenken die een einde maakte aan de absolute monarchie en Siams eerste grondwet introduceerde.

We loved riding around by tuk tuk and trying Thai food at night. The crispy pork was my favorite, and the pad Thai was delicious too. We finished the tour very happy and very full. Thank you Poppy!!
This was one of our favorite nights in Bangkok. Annie made the tour easy, fun, and relaxed. The tuk tuk ride was cool, the night views were beautiful, and the food stops were very tasty. We laughed a lot and left very full.

If you want to experience real Thai street food, this is the tour for you. Poppy guided us to some fantastic spots that we never would have found on our own. Everything was fresh and packed with flavor, especially the tom yum noodles which had just the right kick. Moving between these spots by Tuktuk made the whole evening feel like an adventure. It is great to see the temples and city landmarks lit up at night while cruising around. We left the tour feeling full and very happy with the selection of dishes.
We really enjoyed this private tour. Having our own Tuktuk was such a highlight it made getting around the city very easy and gave us a great view of the streets. Poppy was a lovely guide who kept the night moving nicely. The food was top-quality, from the crispy pork to the different fruits we sampled. It was nice to have a variety of dishes to try in a short amount of time. Everything was well-managed, and it was a wonderful way to enjoy the Bangkok nightlife. It was so much fun!
A fun experience zooming around Bangkok in a tuk-tuk, learning about historical landmarks and trying the local cuisine. Our guide Angie was very friendly, knowledgeable and accomodating, and our driver Mr. Tum was reliable and skillful at the wheel, however his enthusiasm for speed made it feel more like a formula one race, which we found exciting but not for the feint or heart! 🛺💨

Poppy was an amazing host! We had to change our pickup location last minute and she went out of her way to accommodate us. The food was incredible, she knows how to pick great authentic restaurants. She selects a variety of dishes throughout the tour taking preferences into consideration. We ended at a rooftop bar overlooking the river. Such an amazing view! I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a fun and tasty night out in Bangkok!!
If you haven’t done a Tuk-tuk tour at night, you’re missing out! Riding around with the wind in our hair and seeing the city lights was a total rush. Our guide, Poppy, was such a vibe she kept the energy high and took us to some incredible food spots. The crispy pork and tom yum noodles were the best we’ve ever had, and the pork satae was absolutely delicious! Poppy took wonderful care of us and managed everything so effortlessly, so we could just focus on the food and the laughs. It was easily the highlight of our trip!
